Freddy is a training mannequin used to assist personnel in developing and maintaining perishable skills. Freddy can be utilized in scenario-based training programs or for practice drills with high repetition. The Freddy Training Unit lowers liability during intensive training exercises by reducing instructor and trainee injury. Freddy is tough: he can handle the abuse of repetitive and rigorous training exercises without ever getting tired, worn out, or hurt. With wrists, arms, elbows, and knees that work similar to a human’s, Freddy can be utilized for all types of defensive tactics training. He can be handcuffed, worked with a baton, or taken to the ground. Just as a training partner would, Freddy offers resistance and fights to get back up when taken down. CF FREDDY is a highly effective tool for training the Controlled F.O.R.C.E. M.A.C.H. ™ Training program. Freddy stands roughly 6 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds (suited). He is constructed with heavy gauge steel and is covered with a durable, padded suit. The resistance provided by Freddy’s counterweight system feels equivalent to that of a person weighing approximately 180 pounds.
