PLAST 2021 - GENERAL REGULATIONSThis version is a translation compiled solely to assist the comprehensionof the original version of the General Regulations in Italian. Only the Ital-ian text is legally binding with regard to relations between exhibitors atPLAST 2021 and PROMAPLAST srl.

1 OrganizationPLAST 2021 – International Exhibition for Plastics and Rubber In-dustries, at its nineteenth edition, is organized by PROMAPLAST srlin cooperation with FIERA MILANO spa.PLAST 2021 is an event supported by EUROMAP (Europe’s Asso-ciation of plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers), it is anevent approved by UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition In-dustry) and achieved in the previous edition the official audit of itsstatistics by ISF (officially acknowledged auditor in Italy) and the sup-port by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.PLAST 2021 Secretariat is at the premises of PROMAPLAST srl:Centro Direzionale Milanofiori - Palazzo F/3 - 20090 Assago (MI) -tel. (+39) 02 82283743 - fax (+39) 02 57512490 - email: info@plas-tonline. org - http://www.plastonline.org.In the period immediately preceding PLAST 2021, the Secretariatoperates from the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds: the location andphone and fax numbers are notified to the exhibitors fifteen days be-fore the start of the show.

2 Date, Venue and opening hoursPLAST 2021 is held from Tuesday 4 May to Friday 7 May 2021 in-clusive, at the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds, in Rho, with en-trance from South, East and West gates.PLAST 2021 is open to visitors and the ticket-paying general public,from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., without any intermediate breaks. Exhibitorsare allowed access to the Fairgrounds at the following times: from 8a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday 4 May 2021; from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. fromWednesday 5 May to Friday 7 May 2021. Exhibitors have to attendtheir assigned stand during the opening hours to the public, other-wise the penalties described in article 23 are applied. Children under the age of 18 are admitted only if accompanied byadults, with the mandatory acceptance of responsibility on the part ofthe accompanying adult.

3 Admitted productsThe following products, all linked to the plastics and rubber industryand in related sectors, can be exhibited or presented at PLAST 2021:� machinery and plant � auxiliary equipment � moulds, dies andaccessories � raw materials, regenerated materials and compos-ites � semi-finished and end-products � specialist press � serv-ices and related sectors, all regarding the plastics and rubberindustry.Products to be exhibited cannot be brought into the Fairgrounds dur-ing opening hours to the public. Exhibitors are not allowed to sellproducts shown directly to visitors or to exact related payment. Salescan only be made in the form of orders, with delivery deferred to alater date. No products on show can be removed from the stand be-fore the show has closed to the public. For all products, machines and equipment, and in particular thoseexhibited in operation, article 26 of these General Regulations apply,along with all further regulations described in the FIERA MILANOspa Technical Regulations (see articles 20 and 25 of the presentGeneral Regulations).

4 Exhibitors from the plastics and rubber industry and from related sectorsCompanies can exhibit at PLAST 2021 by presenting the duly com-piled application form (see article 10). Likewise, the companies pub-lishing specialist press and periodicals, official organizations,associations, institutes etc. can also take part, as long as their activityis performed to promote, support or implement activities connectedto or related to the Exhibition’s trade sectors and characteristics. Inaddition, craft-sized companies working in the plastics and rubberindustry can also take part in PLAST 2021.The regulations applied to exhibitors as described in these General

Regulations are also applied to the companies described in articles5, 6 and 7, where applicable and unless of specific distinctions.

5 Co-exhibitorsCo-exhibitors can also apply to exhibit without booking their ownstand but being hosted at an exhibitor’s stand, in accordance withtheir manufacturing or industrial agreements. The co-exhibitor hasto fill out the obligatory online forms made available byPROMAPLAST srl into a reserved internet area, previous consentby the hosting exhibitor.The admission fee for co-exhibitors is 1,500 euro + VAT, which enti-tles said co-exhibitors to: inclusion in the alphabetical list and in thelist by product category of the official printed and on-line catalogue(including mobile version) for PLAST 2021, one copy of the printedversion, as well as an entrance card for the entire show period (seearticle 18) and one free car park inside the Fairgrounds during showperiod.It is not included the obligatory insurance fee amounting to euro 100(of which euro 50 for insurance brokerage) that is charged with ded-icated invoice by FIERA MILANO spa (see article 29).A maximum of two co-exhibitors are allowed at the stand of one ex-hibitor, except in the case of circumstances described by the exhibitorwhich are taken into consideration by PROMAPLAST srl, whose de-cision regarding approval or rejection is incontrovertible.Co-exhibitors cannot represent other companies. Co-exhibitors whohave not enrolled officially for the Exhibition are not admitted. PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa reserve the right to ver-ify the brands and/or products shown and, in the case that brandsand/or products belonging to co-exhibitors who have not enrolled inthe Exhibition are found, to remove said brands and/or products,charging the related expenses to the exhibitor renting the stand.

6 Represented companiesIf some manufacturing companies wish to exhibit at PLAST 2021 bymeans of their representative’s stand, the representative is requiredto assume the written responsibility on behalf of and towards the rep-resented company together with the application form. The represen-tative exhibitor is required to specify, on the obligatory online formsmade available by PROMAPLAST srl into a reserved internet area,the names and respective information of all the companies repre-sented and whose brands and/or products are presented on hisstand. For each represented company, the exhibitor is required to pay anadmission fee of 350 euro + VAT, which entitles the name of the rep-resented company to be included in the official printed and on-linecatalogue, including mobile version (under the name of the repre-sentative exhibitor in the alphabetical list, and in the specific list ofrepresented companies), and likewise the inclusion of products ex-hibited in the list by product category (under the name of the repre-sentative exhibitor). The fee also entitles each represented company to one entrancecard for the period of the show, which is sent to the representative ex-hibitor (see article 18).In case of withdrawal from one or more represented companies,the respective admission fees already settled by the exhibitorcannot be refunded, neither they can be compensated with sub-stituting applications.PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa reserve the right to ver-ify the brands and/or products shown and, in the case that brandsand/or products belonging to represented companies who have notenrolled in the Exhibition are found, to remove said brands and/orproducts, charging the related expenses to the representative ex-hibitor.

7 Agents in Italy of direct foreign exhibitorsForeign companies who book their own stand directly can specifytheir agent in Italy, if they have one, on the obligatory online formsmade available by PROMAPLAST srl into a reserved internet area,assuming all responsibility on behalf of and towards the agent, whois thus included in the alphabetical list of the official PLAST 2021catalogue at no extra cost, in addition to the company details of theforeign exhibitors themselves.

An agent is not allowed to display brands and/or products by othercompanies, for whom he is also an agent, on the stand rented by theforeign company whom he represents. PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa reserve the right to ver-ify the brands and/or products shown, and in the case that brandsand/or products by other companies not officially enrolled at PLAST2021 are found, to remove said brands and/or products, chargingthe related expenses to the exhibitor renting the stand.If the agent intends to present, at PLAST 2021, brands and/or prod-ucts by other companies that he represents, the agent is required tobook a stand and to communicate the names of the other compa-nies represented, in the devoted online forms.

8 Participation feeThe participation fee for PLAST 2021 is officially determined byPROMAPLAST srl. Taxes and duty that are applicable in accordancewith current legislation and with any new legislation that may be intro-duced will be added as appropriate, and are payable by the exhibitor.If any tax or duty should no longer be payable in the respective fi-nancial year as a result of changes in legislation, PROMAPLAST srlwill return the corresponding sums that have already been paid.Minimum stand size is set at 16 square meters, except for specialcircumstances for which the decision on the part of PROMAPLASTsrl shall be final and incontrovertible.The following participation fees are applied at PLAST 2021 for rawspace rental:� 250 euro/sqm + VAT, for stands of size 16-50 sqm� 240 euro/sqm + VAT, for stands of size 51-100 sqm� 230 euro/sqm + VAT, for stands of size 101-200 sqm� 220 euro/sqm + VAT, for stands of size 201-400 sqm� 210 euro/sqm + VAT, for stands of size over 400 sqm.In the case of fractional square meter assignment, sizes are rounded up.The following surcharges are applied:� 1,200 euro + VAT, for stands with two open sides� 1,800 euro + VAT, for stands with three open sides� 2,400 euro + VAT, for stands with four open sides.Exhibitors can apply for a stand with two, three or four open sides,preferably in the case that they book an area of at least 40 sqm, 80sqm, or 160 sqm respectively. PROMAPLAST srl is under no obli-gation to guarantee the supply of space with said characteristics.In the machinery sector, as a result of the standard display grid inthe halls of FIERA MILANO spa, PROMAPLAST srl can be commit-ted to assign a stand with two, three or four open sides only if the ex-hibitor requests an area of at least 100 sqm, 200 sqm or 400 sqmrespectively, and on condition that the exhibitor presents the re-spective application form within the deadline specified in article 11.In the case that, as a result of technical and organizational con-straints, an exhibitor is assigned a stand with two or more opensides without these having been requested, and/or with a standsize lower than the minimum specified above, the exhibitor is inany case required to pay the respective surcharge, once the as-signed stand is accepted.In any case, surcharges for more open sides are not applied tostands with a net area exceeding 500 sqm.For stands with a second-floor level (see article 20 of these Regu-lations), there is a charge of 125 euro/sqm + VAT for each squaremeter of second-floor level and exhibitors who intend to install astand with a second-floor level should apply in writing toPROMAPLAST srl by January 31, 2021, stating the exact size of thesecond-floor level.For outdoor area, only whereas technically feasible and upon moti-vated request by the exhibitor, there is a charge of 125 euro/sqm +VAT for each square meter of outdoor area and interested exhibitorsshould apply in writing to PROMAPLAST srl by January 31, 2021,stating the exact size of the required outdoor area.The participation fee at PLAST 2021 includes the rental chargefor the space and the following services:� inclusion of the names of the exhibitor and co-exhibitor in the Al-

phabetical List and in the List by product category in the Officialprinted Catalogue for PLAST 2021, including mention of anycompanies represented by the exhibitor in the devoted spaces;

� inclusion of the names of exhibitor and co-exhibitor in the Alpha-betical List and in the List by product category of the onlinePLAST 2021 catalogue, including mobile version, within theFIERA MILANO spa Expopage and Smart Catalog Internet por-tals, which are activated 4 months before the show, includingmention of any companies represented by the exhibitor in the de-voted spaces;

� one copy of the Official printed Catalogue for PLAST 2021, availablefrom Monday 3 May 2021;

� graphic files for general promotion, available for exhibitors whowish to use it.

Also included in the participation fee are the costs absorbed byPROMAPLAST srl for general promotional activities of PLAST 2021,and the advertising, in Italy and abroad, performed byPROMAPLAST srl, including promotion on specialist on-line portals;and likewise, the complementary events organized byPROMAPLAST srl (conferences, meetings etc.) before and duringthe Exhibition, including arrangements made for prospective dele-gations of professional operators, official representations from Italyand abroad, and speakers and expert guests.Upon balance payment of the participation fee, each exhibitor hasto pay a refundable deposit of 1,000 euro (see article 23) and thefee invoiced by PROMAPLAST srl and due to FIERA MILANO spafor indispensable services (see article 9 of the General Regulations).It is not included the obligatory insurance fee amounting to euro100 (of which euro 50 for insurance brokerage) that is charged withdedicated invoice by FIERA MILANO spa (see article 29 of the Gen-eral Regulations).

9 Indispensable services supplied by FIERA MILANO spa

For some indispensable services supplied by FIERA MILANOspa and/or third-party suppliers appointed under FIERA MI-LANO spa own responsibility, it is invoiced by PROMAPLASTsrl the fee of 10.85 euro/sqm + VAT, that the exhibitor is held tosettle upon payment of balance invoice for the participation fee. PROMAPLAST srl is without responsibility for any inadequacy in theprovision of these services, even though maximum consideration isgiven to an exhibitor who timely documents, during the exhibition,the unsatisfactory nature of the services provided by FIERA MILANOand said third-party suppliers.Above-mentioned indispensable services include:� sign with the stand number, which is delivered before the end of

the mantling period;� technical assistance during mantling, the show itself, and dis-

mantling;� floor carpet in the Halls’ gangways� one car park inside the Fairgrounds for each exhibitor and co-ex-

hibitor during entrance hours for exhibitors;� wi-fi connection inside the Halls during show hours (200 Kbps);� cleaning of the stand floor area (including emptying of any rubbish

bins present), performed after 7 p.m. from Monday 3 to Tuesday6 May 2021;

� approved fire-extinguisher (a 6-kg powder extinguisher; 1 extin-guisher for each 50 sqm area of stand or fraction thereof);

� electric power (10 kW) for lighting and motive power within thestand, delivered to the stand’s circuit breaker-main switch (ex-cluding internal distribution circuitry and the respective circuits formachinery or equipment), as well as energy consumption;Important: an exhibitor showing plant in operation can increasethe electric power supplied for plant without extra cost, only at theconditions detailed in article 11;

� municipal advertising tax, which the exhibitor would in any casehave to pay to the Municipality of Rho for activities that are con-sidered as taxable in compliance with the President of the Re-public’s Decree n° 639, 26.10.1972, with successivemodifications. As a result of agreements made with the Munici-pality to the benefit of the exhibition sectors involved, this tax isestablished as a lump sum according to the total area taken up bythe Exhibition, so that exhibitors are not required to perform costlyand time-consuming procedures. FIERA MILANO spa in fact paysthe respective tax directly to the Municipality of Rho;

� copyright payable in function of audiovisual installations in thestand, which are subject to taxation. This does not include therights payable in the case of live performances (with singer and/ormusical instruments), for which the exhibitor should pay the dutyowed directly to SIAE offices in the city. If the exhibitor wishes todistribute audio, video or multimedia products containing intel-lectual property, or excerpts from works of intellectual property,protected as regards author’s rights in accordance with Law n°633, 22.4.1941, the rights payable should be paid in advance,and the procedures regarding the application of the respective of-ficial label to the support must be performed in accordance witharticle 181bis of the same law. The unauthorized use of intellectual property and the absenceof the SIAE sticker on said supports are subject to criminalpenalties, in accordance with articles 171 foll. of law 633/41;

� duty owed in accordance with articles 72 and 73bis, law 633/1941,to the performing artists and the phonographic producers owningthe rights for recordings, and the Società Consortile Fonografici(SCF, Recording company consortium) which acts on their behalf.

This does not include the rights owed to performing artists andrecording companies with respect to the provisions of article 73 ofthe above-stated law, for the broadcast of recorded music and musicvideos during fashion shows, and DJ sets with or without dance per-formance. Therefore, an exhibitor who wishes to organize this sort ofevent should contact SCF - Società Consortile Fonografici, ViaLeone XIII, 14 – Milan, in order to complete the procedures specifiedfor this legislation.

10 ApplicationThe application form for PLAST 2021 has to be presented exclu-sively using the obligatory online forms made available byPROMAPLAST srl into a reserved internet area, to be compiled in fullby the exhibitor, then printed, stamped and signed where requiredand sent to PROMAPLAST srl - Centro Direzionale Milanofiori -Palazzo F/3 - 20090 Assago (Milan). The forms must be accompanied by the admission fee – which par-tially covers the organizers’ administrative costs – of 400 euro + VAT,and a deposit (down-payment of the participation fee) of 80 euro +VAT per square meter booked.*In case of VAT exemption in accordance with articles 8/8bis/9 of DPR633/72 and further possible modifications, three declarations haveto be enclosed, respectively addressed to PROMAPLAST srl, FIERAMILANO spa and TIM spa.PROMAPLAST srl accepts only application forms that are signed bythe legal representative of the exhibiting company, compiled in com-pliance with the provisions of these General Regulations, and thatare accompanied by the payment of the admission fee and down-payment of the participation fee. Exhibitors are not allowed to addtheir own conditions, and/or variations in the conditions of participa-tion, to the application forms.The application form must be considered as an irrevocable proposalmade by the prospective PLAST 2021 exhibitor to PROMAPLAST srland PROMAPLAST srl has the right to accept or refuse the proposal.If PROMAPLAST srl does not accept the application, the sum paidby the prospective exhibitor is promptly returned, without the appli-cation of any interest.In compliance with art.1, co. 909, Law 27 December 2017 (compul-sory issuance of electronic invoice between private companies from01/01/2019), the exhibitor with invoicing address in Italy has to sub-mit to PROMAPLAST srl its own Certified Electronic Mail address(PEC) and/or its own delivery code (seven figures), in the devotedfields provided by PROMAPLAST srl in the compulsory online appli-cation forms. *From 1 January 2011, according to D.Lgs. n.18/2010 following UEDirective n.8/2008, foreign exhibitors subject to taxation are notsubject anymore to VAT on the participation fee for PLAST 2021(see article 8), neither on the indispensable services invoiced byPROMAPLAST srl and due to FIERA MILANO spa (see article 9).However, provisions mentioned in the same articles 8 and 9 arevalid regarding possible newly introduced or re-introduced taxation,following further law modifications.

Moreover, exhibitors without a permanent address in Italy can re-cover Value Added Tax still due on the exhibition’s invoices for addi-tional services: for further information, see “VAT Refund” onwww.plastonline.org, “exhibitors area”.

11 Discounts on feesFor PLAST 2021 the following discounts on fees (counted upon bal-ance, after the official stand notification) are set by PROMAPLAST srl.a) 20% discount on the participation fee is granted to exhibitors

whose application form as described in article 10 above, is cor-rectly compiled, submitted and accompanied by the respectiveadmission fee and down-payment with fixed value date on or be-fore 10 February 2020 and with all bank charges paid by the ex-hibitor, within the same deadline.

b) 10% discount on the participation fee is granted to exhibitorswhose application form as described in article 10 above, is cor-rectly compiled, submitted and accompanied by the respectiveadmission fee and down-payment with fixed value date after 10February 2020 and on or before 10 May 2020 and with all bankcharges paid by the exhibitor, within the same deadline.

c) Upon condition that the regular application is sent by the lastdeadline of 10 May 2020 exhibitors who book an area at PLAST2021 greater than that occupied at PLAST 2018 are entitled toan additional 10% discount, calculated only upon the addi-tional area, under the condition that no other co-exhibitor or rep-resented company are hosted, and neither their brands, logos orproducts, apart those in case hosted at PLAST 2018.PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa reserve the right toperform checks and to cancel all discounts, charging the respec-tive sums to the exhibitor in the case of non-compliance with thisprovision.

d) At PLAST 2021 halls are subdivided by product category, withpossible specific theme areas within these subdivisions. This sub-division is defined according to the applications received by 10May 2020 and it is announced by 10 July 2020. For this reason,exhibitors who have enrolled by 10 May 2020 and who requestone or more additional stands to exhibit their products in differenthalls or sections, making their request even after 10 July 2020but in any case within 31 July 2020, are entitled to an additional10% discount on the participation fee, calculated exclusivelyon the area of the stand of smaller size.

e) For exhibitors enrolling by 10 May 2020 and showcasing ma-chinery in function at PLAST 2021, the participation fee can beinclusive of the cost of installing motive power exceeding the10kW already included as described in article 9, both in the casethat this power is already available at the circuit breaker-switch-board at the stand, and in the case that extra electrical supplylines are necessary (within the limits of lines that can be installedin the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds), in order to supply fur-ther power to the circuit breaker-switchboard within the stand (thisexcludes internal distribution systems and the wiring required toreach machinery or equipment), on condition that:

1) the exhibitor compiles the respective order forms specifying thepower necessary, as already anticipated in the admission form,for the individual machines to be displayed in operation and de-livers them to FIERA MILANO spa within the deadlines specifiedin the online FIERA MILANO spa portal, named e-service(https://eservice.fieramilano.it), described in article 19;

2) the exhibitor guarantees that each machine is shown in opera-tion for at least 50% of the time that the exhibition halls are opento the public, unless motivated exceptions for technical reasons;

3) the request is appropriate to the actual operating requirementsfor the machinery.Important: the conformity of the requests is assessed byPROMAPLAST srl and by FIERA MILANO spa; for requests thatare approved, PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa re-serve the right to perform checks and to charge the total cost ofthe power required if differences are detected between the actualuse with respect to the power requested (as ascertained at thetime that machines are put into operation), and/or if the time forwhich plant is operating differs with respect to the required oper-

ating time as described above, and checked by means of the ap-propriate inspections.Once a request has been delivered and approved, FIERA MI-LANO spa determines the amount that may be charged to the ex-hibitor in the case of electricity misuse (the amount is set at thesum of 25 euro + VAT for every kW of power installed beyond thestandard 10 kW, in addition to the hire of additional supply lines,if necessary, according to a specific estimate). In any case, thecost of installation of electric power – whether this is included inthe participation fee or whether the power is charged to the ex-hibitor in the case of non-compliance with the above stated con-ditions – includes electricity consumption.

The discounts and benefits for exhibitors who enroll within 10 Feb-ruary 2020, as described in paragraphs a), c), d) and e) of this arti-cle 11, are cumulative in the case that the exhibitor falls into one ormore of the cases described.The discounts and benefits for exhibitors who enroll after 10 Feb-ruary 2020 and within 10 May 2020, as described in paragraphsb), c), d) and e) of this article 11, are cumulative in the case that theexhibitor falls into one or more of the cases described.However, after the last deadline of 10 May 2020, applications donot give right to the discounts above described, in whatever cir-cumstances.

12 Stand assignmentStand assignment is determined by PROMAPLAST srl upon un-questionable judgment, primarily in accordance with the subdivisionby the various product sectors at the show, in consideration of thecharacteristics of the products to be exhibited – as declared by theexhibitor in the mandatory online application forms in the websitewww.plastonline.org – and also considering the technical plant withinthe halls of the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds and the chronolog-ical order of submitted applications. The application of these productclassification and technical criteria cannot be guaranteed for ex-hibitors who fail to send their application form in due time, and like-wise for exhibitors who do not compile the mandatory formconcerning exhibits and technical needs correctly. The assignment ofstands to exhibitors presenting their application after 10 May 2020 isperformed in accordance with the spaces that may still be left andthat may be available in the PLAST 2021 exhibition halls.PROMAPLAST srl announces stand assignment by means of the re-served area for exhibitors on the website www.plastonline.org. Ex-hibitors receive the personalized codes necessary to log in this areain accordance with the date on which they presented their applicationform (within end of August 2020 for exhibitors who enrolled by 10May 2020, or later in the case of later enrolment).The definite confirmation of the assigned stand is given by the of-ficial notice of stand allocation issued by PROMAPLAST srl and notby the confirmation of acceptance by the exhibitor. For technicaland operational reasons, PROMAPLAST srl reserves the right tochange the location of stands initially assigned, giving timely no-tice to the interested exhibitor and always in compliance with thesubdivision by product at PLAST 2021. A change in stand positionof this sort does not entitle exhibitors to withdraw their application,and neither does it entitle exhibitors to any reimbursement for dam-ages of whatever nature. In all cases, exhibitors are not entitled totake legal action against PROMAPLAST srl for damages of what-ever nature.Exhibitors are expressly prohibited from subletting the stand as-signed, or a part thereof.

13 WithdrawalIf an exhibitor decides to withdraw his application at PLAST 2021,PROMAPLAST srl acquires the right to retain the sums paid by theexhibitor for whatever reason, and to use the respective area as itwishes. If the exhibitor withdraws after having received the officialnotice of stand assignment, and in any case after 31 December2020, the exhibitor is required to pay the entire participation fee. Inany case, PROMAPLAST srl has all and every right to take legal ac-tion and to sue for damages the exhibitor who has withdrawn, ifdeemed applicable.

14 ReductionsBefore the official notice of definitive stand assignment, and in anycase before 31 December 2020 in the case that the official noticehas not yet been issued, if an exhibitor wishes to reduce the areathat was booked on enrolment for PLAST 2021, the deposit paid forthe area relinquished by the exhibitor is retained by PROMAPLASTsrl as reimbursement for organizational expenses. In any case, re-quests for reductions of over 15% of the area booked are notaccepted.

15 Terms of paymentThe balance of the participation fee must be paid by the exhibitorswithin 15 days of receipt of the debit note issued by FIERA MILANOspa, on behalf of PROMAPLAST srl, following the official notice ofdefinitive stand assignment. In the case that such official notice is is-sued after 31 December 2020, the balance of the participation feemust be paid on receipt of the debit note. By submitting its regular ap-plication form, the exhibitor accepts that PROMAPLAST srl, FIERAMILANO spa and TIM spa have faculty to send invoices by e-mail tothe account mentioned by the exhibitor in the application form itself(for Italian companies mandatorily by P.E.C., audited e-mail system,as per current law).It is allowed entrance to the Fairgrounds and the contractual servicesare supplied only to the exhibitors who settle balance payment in duetime. Payments for the above-mentioned fees must be made to:FIERA MILANO SPA, Payment reason: PLAST 2021UBI Banca - IBAN: IT 82 V 03111 01665 000000089995 BIC/SWIFT: BLOPIT22with bank expenses to be borne by the exhibitor, or by means of acheque made out to FIERA MILANO spa. Payments made from out-side Italy by Italian or foreign exhibitors must be made in such a wayso that any bank expenses be paid entirely by the exhibitor, who hasto provide clear instructions for the bank transfer specifying that allcharges made by the respective Italian and foreign banks must bepaid by said exhibitor.On behalf of PROMAPLAST srl, the holder of the above current ac-count is FIERA MILANO spa, whose registered office is in PiazzaleCarlo Magno 1, 20149 Milan, Italy, VAT N. 13194800150.Notice on financial flow track duties:PROMAPLAST srl, by supplying services foreseen in the presentRegulations, ensures compliance of all mentioned duties, followingarticle 3 of law 13.08.2010, n. 136 and further modifications, with re-gard to any exhibitor that is a public body or controlled by a publicbody or considered as “appointing contractor” according to said law,or the contractual relation can be cancelled with immediate effects.Said exhibitor has to fill the application form with the mandatory codeCIG (identification number of the public tender) or whereas neces-sary with CUP (sole project code) concerning underpinning public in-vestment.

16 Advertising in the Fairgrounds and on-line advertisingWith the exception of advertising promotion within the exhibitor’sstand, other forms of advertising promotion can be performed by ex-hibitors in permitted forms within the Fairgrounds, as managed byFIERA MILANO spa in cooperation with PROMAPLAST srl, and saidcompanies reserve exclusive rights to the management of advertis-ing, even in the case that specialist agencies are also involved, fol-lowing the guidelines of the portal described in article 19 of theseRegulations. Exhibitors can also commission paid advertising inser-tions in the website www.plastonline.org, and likewise in the Ex-popage portal run by FIERA MILANO spa in the section dedicated toPLAST 2021, starting from 4 months before the exhibition, followingthe guidelines made available in due time within the above men-tioned portal.

17 Official catalogue – standard information included, and supple-mentary information subject to paymentPROMAPLAST srl reserves exclusive rights for the publication of theofficial PLAST 2021 catalogue, even on electronic support and/orfurther means according to later technical developments, and to thesale of this publication. The catalogue contains the alphabetical listand the list by product category, plans of the Exhibition, other useful

information, and paid advertising (euro 600 + VAT/page), bookableby exhibitors using the optional online form, by 31 December 2020.This deadline also marks the deadline after which any furtherenrolments, or changes in company information and productcategory for already enrolled companies, are made exclusivelyon-line, except in the case that PROMAPLAST srl should decide –its decision in this regard being final and incontrovertible – to publisha supplement to the printed catalogue.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors provide and undersign the data for freeinclusion in the alphabetical list and the list by product category, andlikewise the orders for additional insertions subject to payment, bycompiling the mandatory online forms made available byPROMAPLAST srl into a reserved internet area.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors are required to promptly informPROMAPLAST srl of any variations that may have occurred for thedata provided with said forms, including reference to companies rep-resented by the exhibitor or a possible Italian agent for a foreign com-pany that has booked a stand, whose data are filled in the devotedsection of the online application form.Exhibiting companies have sole responsibility for the conse-quences of failing to provide prompt notification of changes ininformation (see also article 34 regarding the exhibitor’s bankdetails).Exhibitors and co-exhibitors can request free insertion of their com-pany names in the list by product category in correspondence with amaximum of fifteen products listed in the official Index of Exhibits.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors can request that their company name isincluded in the list by product category in correspondence with amaximum of fifteen further products listed in the official Index of Ex-hibits, at the cost of euro 100 + VAT for every 5 additional products(the same cost is applied to less than five additional products). Ex-hibitors that represent other companies have to comply with thesame limitations on the listings for products exhibited on behalf ofthe companies that they represent.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors can request the paid insertion in Englishonly of listings of plant or products that are not included in the officialIndex of Exhibits, as long as said products are pertinent to the tradesectors covered by PLAST 2021; the rate applied for said extra de-scriptions, published in the alphabetical list under the company in-formation, is euro 15/word + VAT, with 3 words as minimum, up to amaximum of 30 words.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors who have changed company nameor who intend to make reference to brands or other commercialnames that they utilize, can request paid insertion in the alpha-betical list, with a reference to the current company name, at theprice of euro 200 + VAT for every additional company name, brandor initials.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors can request paid insertion, in the al-phabetical list, of their company logo, at the price of euro 250 + VAT,undertaking to provide the logo in digital format with the characteris-tics specified in the devoted section of the online form, by 31 De-cember 2020. In such order, it is included also the customization ofthe official banner of PLAST 2021 with the company logo of the ex-hibitor. Such customized banner is made available to the exhibitorwithin 31 January 2021, for the promotion of the exhibitor‘s partici-pation through web channels and e-mails.Exhibitors and co-exhibitors accept all responsibility as regards or-ders for the insertion of company or product information that is notpertinent to their business; therefore in no case can PROMAPLASTsrl be held responsible for such erroneous insertions.

18 Exhibitor-cards, and cards for mantling-dismantlingPROMAPLAST srl supplies exhibitor-cards, for employees and rep-resentatives of exhibiting companies, for the period of mantling, theshow itself, and dismantling, according to stand surface area, up toa maximum of 30 cards:� for stands up to 16 sqm: 5 cards� from 17 to 50 sqm: 7 cards� from 51 to 120 sqm: 12 cards� from 121 to 300 sqm: 20 cards� over 300 sqm: 30 cards.

Exhibitors hosting represented companies in their stand are entitledto one extra card for every represented company enrolled at PLAST2021 by means of the respective online form.A co-exhibitor is entitled to one card.Supplementary cards are subject to payment, and can be requestedfrom PROMAPLAST srl by means of the documents listed in article19 below.In order to gain access to the Fairgrounds and to pass the securitychecks, the name of the card-owner and the exhibiting companyname must be added to all the cards, to be requested after the offi-cial stand notification, through the online portal E-Service by FIERAMILANO spa, Exhibitor’s Cards section.The exhibitor-cards provide access to the Fairgrounds in the periodsof mantling and dismantling (see articles 21 and 22), and during theperiod of the show itself (see opening hours in article 2).For access to the Fairgrounds during mantling and dismantling, andin particular for suppliers and/or for contracting companies workingon behalf of the exhibitor, other cards are supplied according to re-quirements.These are specific “mantling-dismantling cards” and they can beused only for those periods (and not for the show period itself).After the official stand notification, through the online portal E-Serviceby FIERA MILANO spa, “Logistics-Mantling” section, the devoted in-ternet area for pre-registering people, trucks and car that need ac-cess during mantling and dismantling is made available. In saidinternet area, the general plan of the Fairgrounds can be also con-sulted, including access Gates and “Rules about setting up andbreaking down”.After the confirmation via e-mail is sent, both the exhibitor’s cardsand the barcodes for mantling-dismantling cards have to be printedat the recipients’ care and presented at the Gates of the Fairgroundsof FIERA MILANO spa. Exhibitor’s cards are read through devotedscanners, while barcodes for mantling-dismantling are read throughdevoted totems, located at Cargo Gates, East Gate and LogisticsOffice.After being scanned, each barcode is voided and related mantling-dismantling card is released.

19 Portal E-service, mandatory and optional online formsAfter the official stand notification, the exhibitor receives access viae-mail to the online portal E-service by FIERA MILANO spa (https://eservice.fieramilano.it), including the technical plan of the assignedstand, the description of the utilities supply, mandatory online formsfor safety reasons and optional online forms for additional and tech-nical services that might be ordered to FIERA MILANO spa, shouldthese be required.The on-line portal specifies which forms must absolutely be compiledby the exhibitor for technical or safety reasons, and returned toFIERA MILANO spa. If the exhibitor does not comply with these in-structions and does not return the mandatory forms within the spec-ified deadlines, FIERA MILANO spa, in cooperation withPROMAPLAST srl, reserves the right to block access to the PLAST2021 Fairgrounds. The mandatory forms or form sections do not involve any extra costsfor exhibitors, except the mandatory INS/Insurance mandatory onlineform and except in the case of any supplementary requests that theymay decide to make when compiling the forms.The on-line portal also provides a summary of the orders made byeach exhibitor for PLAST 2021, and instructions for on-line personalaccreditation for the “exhibitor-cards” and the “mantling-dismantlingcards” as described in article 18 above.In addition, exhibitors whose stands are no larger than 50sqm can,if they wish, order a standard stand furnishing system from FIERAMILANO spa, which is not included in stand rental rates as describedin article 8. The cost per sqm of the furnishing system varies ac-cording to the materials and furnishings chosen. Exhibitors can alsocommission a stand with personalized design from FIERA MILANOspa, and in this case they can request a specific estimate fromFIERA MILANO spa.

20 Stand fittings and second-floor levelsIn order to ensure that PLAST 2021 provides a satisfactory overall

effect, PROMAPLAST srl has defined the stand fitting rules, in ac-cordance with FIERA MILANO spa.Exhibitors are required to fit up their stands. Each wall has to berefinished as per the rule of the art, including the back-wall. Thestandard stand height is 3.20 m. For any structure exceeding thisheight (including second-floor levels and only with the exception ofdisplayed products), the exhibitor is required to keep perfectly neu-tral the exceeding part toward the adjacent stand neighbor. Any trademark or graphics toward the adjacent stand neighbor has to keep atleast 3m distance from the same, unless written approval of the standneighbor is given and notified by the interested exhibitor in due timeto FIERA MILANO spa. PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANOspa reserve to right to verify during mantling and, in case ofnon-compliance with present provisions, may carry appropri-ate refinishing whereas possible, charging related costs to theinterested exhibitor.In accordance with said rules, stands that are at least 100 sqm inarea, in whatever hall at PLAST 2021, can have a second-floor level(just one extra floor level). Exhibitors whose stands have an area ofless than 100 sqm, if interested in a second-floor level, have to senda request in advance to PROMAPLAST srl, assessing feasibility withFIERA MILANO spa. The total area of the second-floor level can beat most 50% of the stand’s floor area, with a maximum of 200 sqmof second floor, irrespective of the stand’s floor area.Stands with second floor levels have to comply with this provision ofthe General Regulations for PLAST 2021, and in addition, they haveto comply with the limitations and technical specifications provided byFIERA MILANO spa. These standards, which regard the use and in-stallation of the stands, the safety signs for second floor levels, andso forth, are detailed in the FIERA MILANO spa Technical Regula-tions and in the supplement titled “Regulations for the Assembly of In-termediate Floors in the Exhibition Areas” which are part of theexhibitor documentation. These documents have to be checked forany possible update from the website www.fieramilano.it underPLAST 2021 in the section “Trade Fair Calendar” and from the web-site www.plastonline.org, in the “Exhibitors” section.Exhibitors are required to comply with the instructions con-tained in the FIERA MILANO spa Technical Regulations, and, inthe case of the construction of second-floor levels, they mustalso follow the additional instructions contained in said specificRegulations, with the obligation on the part of the exhibitor tonotify such provisions also to its own appointed suppliers(stand fitters, forwarders etc.).Exhibitors must apply for approval of the design of the second-floorlevel from FIERA MILANO spa by sending the documentation re-quired, and using the specific forms in the on-line portal described inarticle 19 above, within the deadlines stated in the forms themselves.Once the design for a second-floor level area has been approved byFIERA MILANO spa, the administrative offices of FIERA MILANOspa issues a debit note on behalf of PROMAPLAST srl, for the sec-ond-floor level area (see article 8), which the exhibitor must pay onreceipt of said note.

21 Mantling: start and end of workThe halls of PLAST 2021 can be accessed for mantling from Mon-day 26 April to Monday 3 May 2021 (see the “Rules about setting upand breaking down” published by FIERA MILANO spa in the web-site www.fieramilano.it under PLAST 2021 in the section “Trade FairCalendar” and in the website www.plastonline.org, in the “Exhibitors”section), also based on a possible differentiated schedule that is no-tified to exhibitors at least 60 days before the show starts, if deemednecessary.During mantling the halls of PLAST 2021 can be used by exhibitorswithout any extra charges, at the times detailed in the above-men-tioned “Rules”.Exhibitors and their authorized suppliers are required to follow thetimes at which they are allowed to be present in the FIERA MILANOspa Fairgrounds as detailed in the above-mentioned “Rules”.Failures to follow these rules, whether during mantling or disman-tling (see article 22 below) give rise to penalties as detailed in theFIERA MILANO spa Technical Regulations.

Given preceding events before PLAST 2021 in the Fairgroundsof FIERA MILANO spa, it is not possible to grant anticipatedmove-in before the beginning day (Monday 26 April 2021).Extensions to the times at which mantling and dismantling work canbe performed can be requested from FIERA MILANO spa who, inthe case that the request is accepted, provides the exhibitor with anestimate for the respective fee, ready for approval by the exhibitor.Exhibitors are required to begin mantling work by Saturday 1May 2021 at the latest, or to provide justification in writing toPROMAPLAST srl within the same deadline, stating that they intendto begin mantling only during the last two days available, Sunday 2and Monday 3 May 2021.Otherwise, PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa reserve theright to utilize the stands left unfurnished to construct linking struc-tures as necessary or to install areas of public utility, in order tosafeguard the satisfactory appearance of PLAST 2021, with allcharges upon the exhibitor. In this case, the respective exhibitorcan in no circumstances request the reimbursement of amounts al-ready paid, and is required to complete the payment of any sumsthat may still be owed to PROMAPLAST srl and/or to FIERA MI-LANO spa.Exhibitors must inform PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANOspa as to the names of the companies (stand fitting contractors,forwarders, etc.) performing work in the stands that have beenassigned to them. The right of retention described in article 24 alsoapplies to goods belonging to said suppliers who, in such cases, areconsidered as being co-debtors with the exhibitor.

22 Dismantling and storage of abandoned goodsAfter the show has ended, stands must be removed from Friday 7May 2021 after 6 p.m. till 7 p.m. (only hand carried goods) and fromSaturday 8 May till Monday 10 May 2021, which is the deadline asstated in the “Rules” as described in article 21 above.Only for the exhibitors who showcase complex machinery and thatfor assessed and objective necessities need extended timing for re-lated dismantling compared to official terms, the Halls can be madeavailable during Tuesday 11 May 2021 without additional charges,previous acceptance of related request by FIERA MILANO spa. Forextended hours during dismantling days, the same provisions set inpreceding article 21 are valid.If a stand has not been disassembled and cleared by the end of dis-mantling, FIERA MILANO spa cannot accept any responsibility forgoods and materials, and for whatever is stored in the stands, and itreserves the right to clear the stand and store the materials, accept-ing no responsibility in these operations, and at the exhibitor’s ex-pense and risk. After two months, goods that have not beenreclaimed can be sold by auction, and the sums received, after hav-ing deducted expenses and other costs due to FIERA MILANO spa,are credited to the exhibitor. The fact that an exhibitor’s materials re-main in the Fairgrounds entail the payment of a charge to FIERA MI-LANO spa for the occupation of Fairgrounds space after the durationof the show itself.

23 Penalties for unattended stand and/or for early dismantlingDuring the times at which the show is open to the public, as de-scribed in article 2 above, and for all days of the show, the exhibitormust guarantee the presence of staff at the stand assigned, andmust not begin dismantling operations (including graphics orproducts removal, packaging of any material etc.). before thetime at which the show closes to the public (6 p.m. on Friday 7May 2021).A refundable deposit of euro 1,000 must be paid by the exhibitor whenpaying the balance of the participation fee. PROMAPLAST srl returnsthis deposit to the exhibitor by bank transfer, on condition thatPROMAPLAST srl in cooperation with the surveillance staff of the Fair-grounds have verified that the stand assigned was actually attendeduntil the moment that PLAST 2021 closed to the public.PROMAPLAST srl and the surveillance staff reserve to produce pho-tographic evidence of any possible breach, including ascertained timeof the photo shooting. Any breach of present rule causes immedi-ate loss by the exhibitor of the deposit, who explicitly acceptsabove mentioned rules by submitting the application form.

Given bank timing in carrying on several transfers, the exhibitorwho in compliance with present provisions has right to the refund(ordered by PROMAPLAST srl within 10 working days after the ex-hibition) receives it back around 20 working days after the closureof PLAST 2021.

24 Right of retention - Statements of account – Exit PassesDuring the days preceding the end of the show, FIERA MILANO spaprovides a summary of all the invoices issued for supplementaryservices and utilities, and for any other charges not yet paid. Anyclaims regarding the list of expenses in this account must be pre-sented to FIERA MILANO spa within the end of the show or they arenot accepted anymore. The statement of account is uploaded in theonline portal E-Service and payment of outstanding fees at the ex-hibitor’s charge can be settled directly by the exhibitor’s officesthrough bank transfer or with credit card accessing the E-Service,either at the digital totems “Easyservice” or by showing the state-ment of account at the banks’ offices in the Fairgrounds. The exit atthe end of the exhibition of the exhibits, as well as the fittings andany other material pertaining to the exhibitor, is allowed upon condi-tion that exit passes are shown to the surveillance guards at thegates of the Fairgrounds; said passes are enabled for exit upon ver-ification that all contractual obligations assumed by the exhibitor to-wards FIERA MILANO spa and the organizer are duly fulfilled. Afterthe end of the show, PROMAPLAST srl reserves the right, within thelimits of law and current regulations, to prevent the exhibitor from re-moving goods from the Fairgrounds, and likewise the property of anythird party suppliers responsible for the stands and for other work, inthe case that the exhibitor fails to comply with the contractual agree-ments accepted by signature of the application form for admission toPLAST 2021 and specified in these Regulations (article 2756 of theCivil Code), including the relations between the exhibitor and FIERAMILANO spa, and the latter company’s suppliers. PROMAPLAST srland FIERA MILANO spa accept no responsibility for any damage tomaterials during the possible period in which the right of retention isimplemented.

25 Health and safety at workFor the entire duration of the event, including setup and dismantlingof the stands and all associated activities, every exhibitor is requiredto comply meticulously with the entire applicable system of rules andregulations, particularly those on occupational safety, health and thephysical well-being of workers, as well as with employment, pensionsand social security law and including waste disposal.During stand setup and dismantling, and for any other associated orlinked activity, exhibitors further undertake to comply with and en-sure that all contractors working on their behalf comply with FIERAMILANO spa Technical Regulations and all amendments and addi-tions therein, which the exhibitor expressly declares to fully ac-knowledge, and the provisions contained in article 88, subsection2-bis and the associated implementational Ministerial Decree issuedon 22.7.2014 by the Ministry of Employment and Social Policies andby the Ministry of Health.The Technical Regulations, which may be consulted on FIERA MI-LANO spa website under PLAST 2021 (www.fieramilano.it, link tothe “Exhibitor technical information”), also contain precautionaryrules on exhibition safety (fire prevention, electrical installations, en-vironmental protection etc.), excluding specific safety-related rulesfor activities undertaken by the exhibitor or contracted out by ex-hibitors to contractors (stand set-up/dismantling of the stand and as-sociated activities), for which the exhibitor remains responsible foroversight and compliance.In order to comply with the obligations of the above-mentioned Min-isterial Decree issued on 22.7.2014, PROMAPLAST srl offers ac-cess to these specific documents, Annexes IV and V of the MinisterialDecree, through its website, while available also in FIERA MILANOspa website.Conduct that fails to comply with the above-mentioned safety regu-lations, in particular if it impacts general safety in the pavilions andwith regard to other parties in attendance, may cause prompt inter-vention by PROMAPLAST srl and/or FIERA MILANO spa as part of

regular or random checks, resulting in the immediate cut-off of utili-ties supplied to the stall or its immediate closure. Any additional con-sequence that may arise out of a failure to comply with theabove-mentioned provisions is the Exhibitor’s and its contractors’sole responsibility. FIERA MILANO spa may bar staff working for contractors/freelanceworkers operating on behalf of the exhibitor from the Fairgrounds ifthey do not possess an ID badge as envisaged under article 18 sub-section 1u, article 21 subsection 1c, and article 26 subsection 8 ofLegislative Decree 81/08, and non-EU hirees who, even if they holdan above-mentioned badge, do not have a valid and legible Italiangreen card or a valid and legible ID card.This charge is passed on to the employer responsible for and thecontact person for any barred staff.As the contracting party, the exhibitor who authorized such companyto operate on site on its behalf to carry out work is informed of thecharge.Exhibitors shall be responsible for complying with applicablelaws and regulations regarding all works implemented and or-ganized under their responsibility and on their behalf, includ-ing setup, structures, installations, products exhibited and allother associated activities.Every exhibitor is required to appoint a “stand safety responsible”,also defined “Contact Person of the Exhibitor for the ExhibitionSafety” (RSE) who, for safety-related matters, takes on all responsi-bility for all parties who may be involved in terms of the work carriedout on behalf of the exhibitor, for the entire duration of their stay onsite. At the exhibitor’s discretion, and wholly under its responsibility,the stand safety responsible / Contact Person of the Exhibitor for theExhibition Safety (RSE) may be a different individual during each ofthe three previously-mentioned phases (set-up, exhibition, disman-tling).PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa must be informed of thename of the stand safety responsible / Contact Person of the Ex-hibitor for the Exhibition Safety (RSE) and his/her phone numbersprior to the start of setup work, in any case prior to the arrival, en-trance of workers and materials on the Fairgrounds and beginning ofsetup operations.The names and contact details of the Contact Persons for the Exhi-bition Safety of neighboring stands are made available to the ex-hibitors by FIERA MILANO spa and PROMAPLAST srl. Eachexhibitor, through his own Contact Person for the Exhibition Safety,must work jointly with the Contact Person for the Exhibition Safety ofthe neighboring stand so that, through the exchange of information,it is possible to identify any preventive measures to be applied toeliminate or, where this is not possible, minimize the risks of inter-ference, where present.If there is a failure to convey the name of the stand safety responsi-ble / Contact Person of the Exhibitor for the Exhibition Safety (RSE),this responsibility is retained by the exhibiting company’s legal rep-resentative. FIERA MILANO spa and PROMAPLAST srl mustpromptly be informed of any change to the name of the stand safetyresponsible / Contact Person of the Exhibitor for the Exhibition Safety(RSE).Access to the stand by contractors operating on behalf ofFIERA MILANO spa for the supply of services can only takeplace in the presence of the stand safety responsible / ContactPerson of the Exhibitor for the Exhibition Safety (RSE) and afterhaving received their approval. Fair surveillance and securitystaff are exempt from this restriction.

25 bis - Measures to guarantee personal safety in the Fairgrounds of FIERA MILANO spa FIERA MILANO spa, in observance of the instructions provided bythe Public Security Authority, has adopted the infrastructural, orga-nizational and operational measures deemed necessary to guaran-tee the safety of the individuals present for any reason in theFairgrounds.Merely by way of example, the following may be provided for, at thesole discretion of FIERA MILANO spa:a) particular means of access to and exit from the Fairgrounds (spe-

cific entrances/exits or reserved lanes, times, systems for the reg-ulation and control of accesses and flows), which may be differ-entiated according to user categories;

b) security checks, which may also be carried out with the aid offixed or portable equipment or instruments, on people, baggageand personal effects, both upon entry to the Fairgrounds and in-side it, and, where necessary, upon exit. These checks will becarried out by FIERA MILANO spa staff or by third parties en-trusted by FIERA MILANO spa for the purpose. Without prejudiceto notification to Law Enforcement Agencies and any measuresthat may be adopted thereby, users who refuse to undergochecks will be prevented from entering the Fairgrounds. If saidusers are already in the trade fair district, they will be removedimmediately. Users invited to undergo a check must guaranteemaximum collaboration, so that the check can be carried out aseffectively and quickly as possible given the nature of the activity.Following said checks, and without prejudice to notification to LawEnforcement Agencies and any measures that may consequentlybe adopted thereby, FIERA MILANO spa reserves the right, at itssole discretion, to refuse entry to the trade fair district to suspectindividuals or objects, and to immediately remove any suspect in-dividuals already inside the trade fair district; suspect objectsmust be immediately removed from the trade fair district by andunder the responsibility of those in possession of them. FIERAMILANO spa is under no obligation to provide services for thesafekeeping of suspect objects;

c) variations or limits to pedestrian and vehicular routes within theFairgrounds, including the positioning of barriers, Jersey barriers,speed bumps and the like;

d) forcible removal, at the risk and expense of the owner, of meansof transport of work equipment, objects or personal effectsdeemed suspect or liable to interfere with security checks.

The measures in this paragraph are also applicable to all visitors andguests admitted to PLAST 2021.

26 CE safety mark – Patents – Machinery in operationThe machines and products exhibited must be built or manufacturedor owned by the exhibiting companies and/or by represented com-panies, who have enrolled at PLAST 2021; said products must com-ply with CE standards and with the respective safety marks.In addition to CE compliance, if the exhibitor shows reconditionedplants, a notice on the occurred reconditioning operations must beshown. Machinery or products without the CE mark, for exampleprototypes, can only be exhibited if they are accompanied by no-tices stating that the machinery or products can be sold only afterhaving received authorization to apply the CE mark.PROMAPLAST srl reserves the right to perform checks on this as-pect, without any obligation on its part, being the exhibitor fully li-able for any consequence deriving from the exhibits displayed.Machinery or products that do not comply with these conditions canbe expelled or removed from the stand, at the exhibitor’s expenseand risk. Exhibitors cannot present, on their own stands, machineryor products that are in conflict with patents belonging to a thirdparty. Should a third party come into knowledge of a presumed vi-olation of this type, it is possible to consult with the specific officein the Fairgrounds in order to initiate the patent dispute. The partypromoting this action must notify the exhibitor held responsible and,for knowledge, also PROMAPLAST srl.However, PROMAPLAST srl cannot take any prohibitory actionswith regard to the party apparently responsible for the violation, anda final decision in this regard can be taken only by the authoritiesentitled to pass judgment in this area. However, an exhibitor who,following notification of a patent dispute, is finally deemed to be re-sponsible for the violation by the respective authorities might be ex-cluded from successive editions of the Exhibition. Machinery ispermitted to operate during the opening times of the show, or oc-casionally during said times, as long as this operation complies withall current safety norms, accident and fire prevention legislation,and within the existing limits of acoustic disturbance allowed intojob environments. In any case, PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MI-LANO spa are exempted from any and all responsibility for any

types and extent of damage caused by the machines displayed.The exhibitor remains the sole responsible for said possible dam-ages.

27 Damage caused by the exhibitor - Waste disposalThe exhibitor is responsible for all damage caused to fittings, plant,equipment and goods on show, and to the structures and plant in thehalls of FIERA MILANO spa. The exhibition area assigned to eachexhibitor at PLAST 2021 must be returned in the same conditions inwhich it was consigned to the exhibitor. Any expenses incurred byFIERA MILANO spa in order to repair any changes that the exhibitormay have made, and any damage caused, are payable entirely bythe exhibitor.The collection, detention, transportation, stocking and the waste re-covery/disposal must be carried on according of Legislative Decreen.152 / 2006 and further modifications and integrations (s.m.i.). Beside the service supplied under FIERA MILANO spa responsibil-ity of the cleaning of the stand floor area in the evening before showdays (see article 9), the exhibitor is obliged to remove waste fromthe Fairgrounds on a daily basis and to dispose of it in accordancewith current legislation. In accordance with the Technical Regula-tions, the exhibitor and its representatives are jointly and severally li-able for the correct disposal of the waste produced inside theexhibition area and in the assigned exhibition space. It is forbiddenfor the exhibitor (or its representatives) to dump any kind of waste in-side the exhibition areas, both in the assigned space and in the com-mon areas (aisles, roads, etc.).The ban on the dumping of waste and the related obligation toproperly manage/dispose of the same should be understood asreferring to all waste materials and materials resulting from fit-ting/dismantling work related to the exhibition (packaging, materi-als used such as walls, false ceilings, floor coverings, etc.). In caseof waste dumping in the pavilions or inside the Venue, FIERA MI-LANO spa will apply a sanction of 5,000 euro without prejudice tocompensation for further damage, and reserves the right to removethe responsible personnel from the area and to bring legal proceed-ings against them.

28 Declaration of valueExhibitors and co-exhibitors are required to declare the overall “ac-tual value” of goods, machinery, fittings and equipment that they in-tend to bring into the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds, including theequipment brought on behalf of the other represented companiesthat may be hosted in the stand.This declaration is made using the mandatory Insurance form sup-plied by FIERA MILANO spa with the on-line portal E-Service.If the value of the goods is not notified, it is assumed that the ex-hibitor accepts the minimum values as described in the following ar-ticle 29, a), 1.In the case of accident, if there is a difference between the value de-clared by the exhibitor or co-exhibitor and the value of the goods ex-hibited, the insured value is in any case that declared by the exhibitoror co-exhibitor. FIERA MILANO spa retains the right to verify the va-lidity of exhibitors’ and co-exhibitors’ declarations. In any case, theprovisions of article 1907 of the Civil Code apply as regards the even-tual application by the insuring company of the principle of propor-tionality in reimbursement of damage.

29 Insurance - Limitation of Liability - Surveillancea) All Risks Policy - Exhibitors’ goods (excluding terrorism and

sabotage)1. PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa require exhibitors

and co-exhibitors that goods, materials, fittings and equipmentthat exhibitors and co-exhibitors bring into the Fairgrounds becovered by an “All Risks” insurance policy, with the clause of re-dress renunciation of the Insurer towards third parties, in which In-surers waive all rights to claims against them, includingFondazione Fiera Milano, FIERA MILANO spa, companies linkedto them, PROMAPLAST srl, and third parties involved in the or-ganization of the Exhibition. The insurance coverage for a maxi-mum cover of euro 25,000 is provided through FIERA MILANOspa. The respective cost of euro 100 (of which euro 50 for insur-

ance brokerage) is charged to the exhibitor and the co-exhibitorby FIERA MILANO spa, with devoted invoice, in parallel withinthe invoice for the balance of the participation fee. The exhibitorand co-exhibitor can increase the maximum cover by compilingthe respective form provided by FIERA MILANO spa with the on-line portal E-Service described in article 19.In this insurance, there is an uncovered amount of 10% for eachinstance of damages, in the case of theft, with a minimum of euro250, which are doubled after the end of the PLAST 2021 showperiod (Friday 7 May 2021).

2. If the exhibitor and/or the co-exhibitor have their own “All Risks”cover for goods, machinery, equipment, materials and fittingsbrought into the FIERA MILANO spa Fairgrounds, specificallyvalid for trade shows and exhibitions, with the clause of redressrenunciation of the Insurer towards third parties including Fon-dazione Fiera Milano, FIERA MILANO spa, companies linked tothem, PROMAPLAST srl, and third parties involved in the organ-ization of the Exhibition, said exhibitor and co-exhibitor must fill inand return in any case the respective form, available in the onlineplatform E-service, duly compiled and signed, enclosing declara-tions signed by the exhibiting company’s legal representative andthe legal representative of the insurance company in which it iscertified that the above-stated goods are covered with an “AllRisks” policy with a maximum cover that is not less than the coverspecified in this article (as per the sample declaration included inthe insurance form, provided by FIERA MILANO spa with the on-line portal described in article 19). In this case, FIERA MILANOspa issues a credit note that compensates for the invoice issuedfor the cover as detailed above.

b) Third party insurance policyThis insurance coverage is automatically provided by FIERA MI-LANO spa for all exhibitors, who are included, without any addi-tional costs, in its overall policy for maximum cover that is not lessthan euro 100,000,000.00 (100 million).

c) Halls’ surveillance general service - Additional provisionsFIERA MILANO spa provides Halls’ surveillance general service.Safekeeping and surveillance responsibility of the standduring the opening hours of the Halls are pertinent to re-spective exhibitors and co-exhibitors, who must directly en-sure the safekeeping of introduced materials during setup anddismantling. Therefore, it is recommended to the staff of thecompanies to attend the stand punctually at the opening of theHalls till the evening closure. Valuables that may be easily re-moved must be safely stored with utmost carefulness bythe exhibitors and/or the co-exhibitors every evening,preferably in lockable closets. Specific surveillance services canbe required to FIERA MILANO spa, against payment, throughthe online portal E-service.Without prejudice to the individual measures, compliance with theGeneral Regulation is enforced by the staff of PROMAPLAST srl, thepertinent offices of FIERA MILANO spa and, whereas necessary, tothird parties (physical or legal persons) appointed by the same.

Notice on limited liability:Exhibitors and co-exhibitors, by signing the application form, agreeto release FIERA MILANO spa, PROMAPLAST srl and any linkedcompany from any liability for consequential losses, reputational-damage, loss of revenues, etc. Also for any direct loss, theft etc. asper the coverage provided as per article 29 a) above, exhibitors andco-exhibitors agree to release FIERA MILANO spa, PROMAPLASTsrl and any linked company from any liability.Important: the values in euro shown in points a) and b) apply onlyat the time of printing of these General Regulations, and they aresubject to increase or decrease in 2021, with advance notice of vari-ation provided to the exhibitor by FIERA MILANO spa.

30 ComplaintsAny complaint must be notified in writing by the exhibitor responsiblefor the stand to PROMAPLAST srl, which assesses each complaint,identifying responsibilities, in cooperation with FIERA MILANO spa inthe respective competence areas, and taking the final and indis-putable decisions in the best interest of the Exhibition.

31 ArbitrationAny dispute that should arise regarding the interpretation, imple-mentation and resolution of these General Regulations and theFIERA MILANO spa Technical Regulations is settled exclusively byan arbitration committee consisting of three arbitrators, of which thefirst two are nominated one by each party, and the third by the firsttwo. In the case that one of the two parties does not nominate its re-spective arbitrator, and after ten days have passed from receipt of therequest to nominate an arbitrator notified by recorded delivery letter,the arbitrator is nominated for the respective party by the Presidentof the Court of Milan. In the case that the two arbitrators cannot reach agreement on thenomination of the third arbitrator, or if the third arbitrator has not beennominated within 30 days from the nomination of the two arbitrators,the President of the Court of Milan proceeds to nominate the third ar-bitrator on request by the first party to make the request. The arbitrators reach their decision by means of unrestricted and am-icable discussion, without the necessity to follow specific procedures,and following the adversary principle of hearing both sides, if nec-essary reaching a compromise decision; their decision, reached ac-cording to the principles of law, is considered as wholly substitutingthe wishes of the two parties, who accept the decision as if it hadbeen taken by the two parties directly, including the provisions re-garding the expenses of the arbitration.The arbitrators must accept their nomination within 10 days from no-tification, and their decision must be issued within the next 90 days,unless this period is extended by agreement of the two parties con-cerned.

32 Cases of force majeure and decisions by superior forcesAs a result of reasons beyond their control or as a result of decisionsby superior forces or in cases of force majeure, PROMAPLAST srland FIERA MILANO spa can request from the respective authoritiesthe possibility of changing the date of the Exhibition, reducing or ex-tending its duration, and changing the opening times of halls duringmantling, the show itself and dismantling. In such exceptional cases,exhibitors do not have the right to request the cancellation of the con-tract that they have entered into by compiling the application formfor PLAST 2021.If, for the above-mentioned reasons, PLAST 2021 should not takeplace, the available sums of money, after PROMAPLAST srl andFIERA MILANO spa have settled the sums owed to third parties, aresubdivided amongst the exhibitors in proportion to the paymentsmade by each exhibitor. In all these cases, the exhibitor cannot andmust not hold PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa liable fordamages, for whatever reason and in whatever context.

33 Termination clause expressedPROMAPLAST srl is entitled to terminate the contract by means ofwritten notification to the exhibitor in the following cases:a) the exhibitor’s failure to pay the invoice for the balance of partic-

ipation fee within the deadline as in article 15 above;b) the exhibitor’s declaration of bankruptcy, or his involvement in in-

solvency proceedings;c) the exhibitor’s failure to comply with the procedures detailed in

article 25 above.In the case that the contract be terminated in accordance with thisclause, PROMAPLAST srl is exempted from all its contractual obli-gations, and all the money already paid by the exhibitor is retainedas reimbursement for the organizational costs sustained byPROMAPLAST srl. In addition, PROMAPLAST srl is entitled to takeeach and every form of legal action in order to recover the sums thatmay still be owed and to compensate any further possible damages.

34 Company data processing - Personal data - EU GDPR 2016/679All the company and product information supplied by the exhibitorand the co-exhibitor with the application form, and successively afterits acceptance, is entered into a digital database by PROMAPLASTsrl operated in function of its trade fair and promotional activities, forthe purposes applicable in relation to the participants at said tradefairs. Mr Mario Maggiani is the holder of data treatment as regardsPROMAPLAST srl.

After the application form has been accepted, the exhibitor and co-exhibitor are required to notify PROMAPLAST srl promptly of anychanges in the company details, product information etc. providedin the application form, and including the company’s bank detailswhich may be used by PROMAPLAST srl for possible payments andreimbursements at the settlement of final accounts.The exhibiting company submitting the regular application form hassole responsibility for the consequences of failing to up-date said in-formation.1. The exhibiting company states to be informed that the provisions

of the European (EU) General Data Protection Regulation2016/679 (“GDPR”) concern the processing of natural persons’data (“Personal Data”) and do not apply to legal persons (com-panies), organizations and associations and the information (“In-formation”) referring to these subjects, for which only theregulations on the electronic trade communications mailing re-main, for which it is required to the exhibiting company (legal per-son, organization or association) to provide his/her prior consentto the mailing of such electronic communications for direct mar-keting purposes.It is implicitly authorized by the exhibiting company the delivery ofelectronic communications of “organizational” kind, concerningthe supply of contractual services, following the undersignature ofthe application form by the exhibiting company and related ac-ceptance by PROMAPLAST srl.

2. The exhibiting company‘s Personal Data, where operating as asole proprietorship, a small entrepreneur or a professional as wellas his/her representatives, members, employees and collabora-tors provided in the application form or also issued subsequently,as well as those acquired from third parties (e.g.: partners, com-mercial information companies, etc.) or during the event (includ-ing, e.g. any photos or video recordings at the stands: see article35) is collected and processed by PROMAPLAST srl and FIERAMILANO spa as Data Controllers for their own specific activities(the “Data Controllers” or “our Companies”) pursuant to the termsdescribed in the Privacy Note provided with application forms.

3. The attached note as referred to in the previous paragraph is pro-vided by PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa in accor-dance to art. 13 of GDPR and the exhibiting company undertakesto convey it to natural persons (his/her representatives, members,employees and collaborators) whose Personal Data has beenprovided for the purposes of their participation in the event and ofthe provision of the connected services as well as to guaranteethat the Personal Data is lawfully processed by our Companies forthese purposes and to release from liability and/or to indemnifyour Companies for every cost or damage caused by the exhibit-ing company‘s breach of the duties of the undertaken obligationstowards our Companies in accordance with this article.

35 Use of images of the exhibiting company acquired during the exhibition In relation to the images of the exhibiting company, his/her standand/or his/her representatives, members, employees and collabora-tors, taken or recorded in any way (such as, using cameras, videocameras or audiovisual recordings) during the event, the above-men-tioned exhibiting company declares to be aware, pursuant to Euro-pean (EU) General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, thatPROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa may collect and processsaid images and disseminate them for informative, promotional andcommercial purposes and therefore grants PROMAPLAST srl andFIERA MILANO spa the free use of the aforesaid images, for thesepurposes, as per articles 96 and 97 of Italian Law no. 633/1941, au-thorizing PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MILANO spa to use themthrough any means of communication (including, for example,brochures, presentations, catalogues and, in general, all the printedmaterial necessary for the promotion, TV, pay-per-view, etc.) and dis-closure via internet (company website, social networks, etc.) or viamagazines and other publications, including digital ones, with therights to adapt and reproduce them for the purposes provided for bythe law. For this purpose, the exhibiting company declares and guar-antees to have: (i) obtained, if necessary, the authorization, after appropriate Privacy

Note, of the data subjects for the processing of the data regard-ing their photos, video recordings etc. PROMAPLAST srl andFIERA MILANO spa, including their disclosure for informative,promotional and advertising purposes pursuant to the terms ofthe European (EU) General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679;

(ii) obtained the authorization for the use and disclosure of the im-ages, pursuant to Articles 96 and 97 of Italian Law no. 633/1941on copyright, in the above-mentioned terms, from the natural per-sons portrayed or recorded, their representatives, members, em-ployees and collaborators during the above-mentioned event.

In relation to the previous sections (i) and (ii), the exhibiting companyundertakes to indemnify and hold PROMAPLAST srl and FIERA MI-LANO spa harmless from all disputes, actions or claims that may beraised by the above-mentioned persons with regard to the indicateduse and disclosure of the relative images described above.

36 Unconditional and binding acceptance of the PLAST 2021General Regulations and the FIERA MILANO spa TechnicalRegulationsBy presenting the application form, the exhibitor and the co-exhibitorunconditionally accept these General Regulations for PLAST 2021,the FIERA MILANO spa Technical Regulations and any later addi-tional provisions that may be adopted by PROMAPLAST srl andFIERA MILANO spa in the interest of PLAST 2021, and which mustbe automatically and unconditionally accepted as part of these Reg-ulations to all effects and purposes.On presenting the application form, in accordance with and by effectof articles 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the exhibitor and the co-exhibitor acknowledge and expressly accept the articles 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20-21-22-23-24-25-25 bis-26-27-28-29-30-31-32-33-34-35-36.By presenting the application form, moreover, the exhibitor and theco-exhibitor confirm receipt of the information notice in accordancewith article 185 of Legislative Decree n° 209, 7 September 2005, incompliance with the provisions included in the ISVAP circular n° 303,2 June 1997.
