To get used to the feel of the trigger, practice spraying first on scrap fabric or paper. TIP: To avoid spatter, start your spray on a paper towel. Then, while spraying, move onto your project and continue spraying back onto the paper towel before letting go of the trigger. Hold can 6 to 8 inches away from project. Maintain firm, even pressure on trigger, do not pump. In a slow, sweeping motion, spray thin layers of paint rather than saturating fabric all at once. Add multiple thin layers as needed for desired color. Let dry approximately one hour before wearing. Wait 72 hours to wash, no need to heat set. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry on low, turn inside out. Pinch center of the shirt and twist, creating a loosely twisted "star" in the center of the shirt. Spray first color. Gently unfold shirt and repeat twist and spray with additional colors as desired. For multiple spirals, make repeated, smaller twists all over shirt. Stays soft when dry. Formulated for use on absorbent, light colored fabrics. Simply Spray Soft Fabric Paint will not cover dark fabric.
