For detailed information regarding the courses and exams offered by the CLM please visit: www.clm-granada.com The University of Granada's Centre for Modern Languages (CLM) offers both local and international students a multicultural and multilingual environment where world perspectives and traditions are exchanged daily. Over 5,000 students from 35 different countries around the world come yearly to the CLM to study Spanish language and culture, while Spanish students study other modern languages in the classrooms right next door. Recognized by the Cervantes Institute for excellence in the delivery of a broad array of language programmes, the CLM is a pioneer in Spanish language instruction for international students, with origins that date to the delivery of its first programme nearly 50 years ago. Upon arrival, students take a language placement test and are placed into one of nine levels of Spanish language taught at the CLM. Utilizing a communicative approach in the classroom and the most up-to-date technologies, highly qualified faculty provide students with a programme of instruction designed to immerse them fully in the language. Special emphasis is given to interactions in real-life situations. The CLM provides many additional services including free WiFi, accommodation with host families or in shared flats and medical insurance.
