It is again a pleasure for the Costa Rica Taekwondo Federation to extend a formal invitation to the 4thCosta Rica Taekwondo Open. This year the Open will be held in our capital San Jos, August 27h and 28th.

The Open Championship consists of two areas of competition, Poomsae and sparring as well as last year.

The Costa Rica Taekwondo Federation and the organizing committee will do their best to provide youfull attention and guarantee excellent results in the organizing and development of this event, in order

For it to be a great international championship.

Again this year we will have the honor to count with the sanction by the Pan-American Taekwondo Union (PATU) and asanction by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).

This event will officially be an athlete ranking system tournament in which as last year; will allow thetop ranked athletes to gain points and a position inside the region. This may eventually serve as a

platform for many benefits and guarantee support from the PATU and WTF in terms of marketing andsponsorship opportunities.

Finally on behalf of all the members of the Costa Rica Taekwondo Federation we will like to thank the World Taekwondo

Federation for their cooperation and a special thank to Grand Master Ji Ho Choi, President of the Pan-AmericanTaekwondo Federation, for supporting this kind of events in our region.

We hope to count with your presence and share with us this promising event with top-level Taekwondo athletes from all
