THE ROOT CHAKRA:

Color associated with The Root Chakra is Red

The principle of this Chakra is:Our human "will" in the physical sense.

The Root Chakrais our connection to the physical world.It brings in and changes cosmic energiesto this world in everyone and everything.

It helps the earthly energycontiuously enter into our subtle system

Man's basic needs as a personand as a part of the human race,

in the area of survival, and life itselfbelong to the influences of the first chakra.

Those who have succeeed in opening this chakrawill accept life completly as it is on Earth.They will have learned to live in harmony,

with everyone, and everything on this planetand have the insight to gain knowladge from every experience.

The red energy that comes from the Earth itselfgives us stability on our planet.

This is the foundationwith which we can build our lives.

This energy is also supplying our need and abilityfor creative self-expression.

It aids us in our need for preparing an existence,as well as the natural need to procreate,

thus being sure of the survival of our species.The root chakra is the stuctural base

for all the higher chakras

In the location of the Root Chakrais where we can get in touch with the powerful

and never ending supplyof what is known as the Kundalini energy.

Sushumna, ida, and pingala arethe three main energy channels

of the human body.They too begin in this chakra.

It is the base of our collective unconscious.

CHAKRAS


It is through this chakrathat we can seek and find

the stored information of the collective unconscious.Our inner system needs to have a balance.

This is why it's important for the Root Chakrato be functioning in harmony

with the Crown Chakra.

THE SACRAL CHAKRA:

Color associated with The Sacral Chakra is Orange

The basic principle of this Chakra is:Our human reproductive instinct.

The Second Chakra is the center ofour raw emotions and creativity.

Through the sacral chakra we partakein the receiving and the processing of energieswhich are the basis of nature on this planet.

We as humans view our existenceas the process of creation.

Which we express in ourselvesas feeling and creativity.

The influence of the Sacral Chakra includes

the impulse to create new life, in the areas wherethe growing soul is nourished, sheltered, and provided

with everything it needs for it's development.

The water elementalso cleanses and purifies us in the sense of

our energy from the second chakra.It dissolves blockages that might stop

or slow the vital natural flow.Here on this planet in our phsyical form

this need to be cleansed of decontaminentsis looked after by the kidneys and bladder.

On the soul or spiritual level this is accomplishedin the form of unconditional, free-flowing feelings

which allow us to see and feel lifeas something always wonderful and new.

Our relationships with others,especially those with the opposite gender

are completly influencedby the functions of the second chakra.

THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA:

Color associated with The Solar Plexus Chakrais Yellow.

The basic principle of this Chakra is:Our emotional and social forming as humans.

According to opinions,some feel there is a discrepancy in its location.We are actually working with a main chakra,

which includes several secondary chakras.These are so similar in their purpose and functionthat they can be considered as one main chakra.

The Solar Plexusis where we absorb the solar energy.

This energy is what nurtures and feedsour ethereal body.

When our ethereal body is nurtured,it will maintain our physical body.

In the third chakras we take in,hold, and put out the emotional energy

from our daily contact with people and our world.Our relations with others, our likes and our dislikes,

are mostly controlled by this chakra.Here we find who we are

as a person, in the social senseand look to confirm who we are in this world of ours.

We do this through our daily lifeand we can witness this in our personal assertion,

the drive to achieve,and our ability to adapt to social patterns.

The important job of the third chakrais to purify our desires and wishes

within the lower chakras.This chakra is consciously controlling

and using the creative energyof those desires and wishes.

The final result is that we allow the spiritual richesof the higher chakras

to become a part of our material world.In accomplishing this we achievethe greatest possible fulfillment

on all levels of our human existance.

CHAKRAS


It is directly connected to to the Astral Body,which houses our wishes, desires, and emotions.

Here all of those emotions from our lower chakrasare transformed into the higher energy patterns.The combination of these two areas of energies

are what shapes us as fufilled humans.

When we accept and blendour feelings, wishes, and experiences

we help our third chakra to relax and open.This opening will increase our inner light

bringing every situation in our livesto a wonderful accepting state of existance.This allows us to feel joy, enlightenment,

and an inner satisfaction.I like to call the Solar Plexus Chakra

our center of emotion.

Now through this center of emotionwe are able to perceive the energy of others

and do react according to what we feel.Have you ever been in a room with people

and you come across someonewho you just know is upset

even though they are not verbally expressing it?And usually a normal reaction

would be one of caution,or to send them love through vibrational transfer.

When this happendsthe third chakra has a contractionas a warning of potential danger.

This is a temporary protective measurewhich becomes second nature

when our inner light is strong enoughto envelope our body like a protective blanket.

THE HEART CHAKRA:

Color associated with The Heart Chakra is Green

The basic principle of this Chakra is:The learning of unconditional love

for self and others.

We all yearn for deep, intimate contact,for oneness, harmony and love,

and even when these feelings come to usin the form of extreme sorrow and pain

it all is being expressed through the Heart Chakra.

When this third chakra is fully open,it is the center of the purest unconditional love.

This state cannot be either possesed or lost.When connected with the higher chakras,

this love is changed into the energy of Bhakti,the Divine Love that allows us to experience

the Divine presence in all Creation.Thus we are united with the heart

of all things in the universe.

On this journey to our hearts goalwe must learn to love unconditionally our own self,

and to accept who we truly are.This helps us to accept

and love all others and life in general.Once we have achieved this goal

and our realization is set on the fact thatit is for our highest and best good

we are filled with a loving acceptancethat all feelings and expressions

CHAKRAS


of life come from the longingfor love and union with life.

We then come to the conclusion thatwe all are an expression of love.

When we suffer from any form of pain or illness,by giving the afflicted organ

or part of the body our loving attentionwe can accelerate recuperation enormously.

This wonderful Love center therefor hasthe increadable potential for healing.

For others as well as ourselves.When we learn to love and fully accept unconditionally

all parts of our personalityfrom the depths of our heart,we can be healed completely.

With the powerful energy of the Heart Chakraan open fourth chakra can have

an instant healing influence on others.In cases of conscious deliberate healing

the inner eye chakra has to be part of the process.Green is the color of healing,

sympathy, and harmony.

When a gifted personperceivces a clear light green

in a person's heart chakra this can be precieved asa very well developed ability to heal.

When a golden aura, mixed with pink is perceivedthis shows a person who lives

in pure and selfless love of the Divine.

A developed and open Heart Chakramay be a tool to estblish the contactwith the universal part of our soul,

or the Divine with in each of us.

THE THROAT CHAKRA:

Colors associated with The Throat Chakra are:Pale blue, silver, greenish blue.

The basic principle of this Chakra is:Our verbal expression as a human.

The Throat Chakra is the center of the human abilityin expression, communication, and inspiration.

The fifth chakra is connectedto a smaller secondary chakra

that is located in the neckand opens to the back of the neck.

These two energy centers are often viewed as one.The fifth chakra also acts as an important link

between the lower chakras and the crown center.It serves as a bridge between

our thoughts and feelings, our impulses and reactions.This fifth chakra also acts as a comunication center

for our other chakras.

Through the throat chakrawe are capable of expression in all that is within us.

A verbal expression of emotion so to speak.These emotions would include

our laughing and crying,our feelings of love and happiness,

anxiety and aggressiveness, as well as our ideas.

Ether is the medium of sound,and is the base element in the throat chakra.

The spoken word in general,

as well as the Divine word of Creation.Communication of our inner self takes place

in our spoken word and gestures.

The communication doesn't stop therewe also express ourselves in forms of music,

performing arts, and dancing.

In the throat chakrathe creativity of the sacral chakra

joins with the energies of the other chakras,and the ether shapes these energies.

This enables us to communicate to the world.We are only able express what we find in ourselves,

and the main tasks of the fifth chakrais to provide us with an amount of self distance.

Which enables us to reflecton all of our thoughts and actions.

Ether is also known as Akasha,the astral light where all the events

actions, thoughts, and feelings that have occurredsince the beginning of time are recorded.

When we become completely openwe will be granted the purest and deepest

sense of knowledge and insight.

The light blue color of etheris also that of the throat chakra.

Here is where we perceive and better understandour own inner voice, and are enabledto make contact with our inner spirit.

Then to receive its inspiration.

How exciting to become consious of our ownreal true mission in life.

THE THIRD EYE CHAKRA:

Colors associated with The Third Eye Chakra are:Indago Blue, Yellow or Violet.

The basic principle of this Chakra is:Inner most knowladge as a being.

All of our physical sensesincluding our extrasensory perception

are connected with this Chakra.It is the center of our higher mental powers.

The sixth chakra houses our intellectual abilityto distinguish, as well as our will

and our memory of all in this life and past lives.On our Earthly plane

the Third Eye Chakra is our highest center pointof communication for our central nervous system.

It's actual color is a clear indigo blue,but yellow and violet shades are also found.

Each of the colors indicate different functionsshown at different levels of our consciousness.

Rational or intellectual thought may produce yellow,while a clear dark blue color indicates intuition.

And in the case of extrasensory perceptionthis would show as various shades of violet.

With our mental capability we are connectedwith the process of "seeing"

through the third eye chakra.All knowledge in Creation already exists,

and is stored in the pure unconscious mind.A soul or being in its shapelessness

manifests a first pattern of vibration.From this point of the first pattern vibration

each new step in a forward directiontowards our development in awareness

creates a new and different pattern of vibration.So this stands to reason how all levels of creation

are stored in human life.From pure ethereal being to the densest of matter,

each are represented in the chakras.All containing their own various levels of vibration.

So the process of manifestationalso takes place within and through us.

As the third eye is the center corefor attainment of consciousness,

it is here that we can manifest matterand dematerialize it.

With the completly open Third Eye Chakra,we are given the ability to create new realities

on the physical level and dissolve old ones.THIS PROCESS SHOULD NOT BE FORCED,

as it takes place automaticallyand without conscious action on our part.The decision making thoughts in our lives,

are usually caused and controledby unresolved emotional patterns.These are often brought about by

programmed opinions and prejudices.So it is said then, that our mind is often

not the master but the servant.These emotional thoughts

often dominate us in our daily lives.When our Third Eye Chakra is open and developed

we can control this process more consciously.By using our intention and imagination

we can literaly create the energythat will fufill our wishes.

In conjunction with an open heart chakra,we can send out healing energies.

This will benifit those who are close in locationand over a long distance.

We can also access all levels of creationand experience them beyond the physical reality.This type of knowledge is in the form of intuition,

clairvoyance, hearing or feeling.That little voice that has made us suspect

all of this informationis now perceived clearly.

THE CROWN CHAKRA:

Color associated with The Crown Chakra is Violet.However; white and gold are also associated colors

The basic principle of this Chakra is:The purest of spirit and being.

The Crown Chakrais the central core of highest human perfection,

and is often seen and shown as hoveringabove the head in a halo like form of light.

There is an outer blossom or flowerin the Crown Chakra that consists of 960 petals.

Inside this chakra is founda second flower with 12 petals.

These flowers glow in a white lightintermingled with gold.

This chakra being the highest center

CHAKRAS


of all the chakras unites itselfwith all the energies of the whole chakra system.

This center is what we call home.In this center of pure energy

we live and experience unity with the Divine principle.This Divine principle of the universe

that we are all connected to.With this Crown Chakra center

our personal energy field is one with the universe.When our seventh chakra is fully open

blockages in the other chakra centers are cleared.We now would have a complete comprehension

of anything that was intuitivelyor intellectually understood.

The awareness given to us by the seventh chakragoes far beyond the knowledge conveyed

by the third eye chakra.As stated above

Violet is shown as the opening of this chakra center.Violet is the color of meditation and devotion.

While we are able to consciously influencethe activation of the six lower energy centers,

in the case of the seventhall we can do is open ourselves

and let things happen through us.As this process unfolds

all the energies of the six other chakrasbegin to vibrate at their highest possible frequencies.As soon as the crown chakra is completely awakened,its task of absorbing cosmic energies comes to an end

and it starts to radiate energy of its own accord.A lotus flower opens out to form a crown

of pure light around the head.

Gem stones have been around as long as the Earth.They are here to be used by everyone on the planet.

First some information about Gems and Crystals.

Gem stones pick up and absorb energyfrom those who touch or handle them.

It's important to clear or cleanse the stonesfrom all energies that they hold.

Clearing and Cleansing

There are several ways that you can clean the stones.Some I have used and been successful withOthers I have only read about.

1). You may wash your stones in lukewarm water.This will help to cleanse them.

2). Another way to cleanse them naturallyis to bury them in the soil.

3). Placing your gems stonesin the bathroom while taking a showercleanses the negative energy from them.The steam neutralizes and balances the energy fields.

4). My favorite methodthat seems to work on all my gem stones.

Yoga Breath Technique.



- Hold your stone in your hands- Close your eyes and envision the stone as clear- As clear as spring water or glass- Now take a breath in through the noseand make a snort sound out of your nose- Releasing the airand saying clear in your mind at the same time.This method works very well for me.

5) Resonating Sound:-Purify crystals with the resonating sound of a bell you love.You can cleanse a roomful of crystalsby ringing the bell above them,but the best way is to purify crystals one at a time.

6). Smudging:"Smudge" your crystals by the burning of dried herbsand waving the smoke over and through them.You can use smudging to purify a roomful of crystals.

7). Sunbathe:Placing the stones in sunlight for a 24 hour periodis a wonderful way to cleans and clearthe energies they hold.NOTE: some stones are light sensitive.

These methods work wellwith no apparent damage to the stones.You may find other methods listed in books.

But I caution that some stones areHeat, Light, and Salt sensitive.



Dedicating and Tuning

After Cleansing the stonesyou should dedicate them and tune them

for the work that you intend to use them for.

To Dedicate the stonehold it and say

"I dedicate this stone to loveand positive purpose

and for the universal benefit for all".

To Tune the stoneWhen you tune the stone

you are selecting the purpose of its use.

1) Remain in a relaxed state2) Hold the stone in one hand and place the other over it3) Visualize an energy connectionbetween you and the stone (eg. ray of white light)4) Decide on the stone's purpose. Then say,"I intend this stone to be an effective tool for . . . ."(e.g. healing, meditation, interpreting dreams)

MEDITATING WITH STONES

To use your stones in mediationYou would meditate the way you usually do

only you would either hold a stone in your handor place three same stones in a triangle around you.Opening your eyes slightly to focus on your stone.

It's very important to ground yourselfdoing one of several different things

* Visualize your feet as deeply rooted tree trunks* Drinking a glass of water* Rubbing hands together briskly* Walking barefoot on ground outside* Placing a small piece of hematite in each sock or by wearing a smokey quartz will help you stay grounded.

Keep meditatingwhile maintaining your focus on the stone

which will help quiet the chatter in your head.This will enable you to tap intomany new levels of awareness.

When you figure out which problemsthat you need to work on

or which chakras are blockedyou will be able to tap into that area

using the stones to heal.

You can either sit up or lie downwhile you place the different stones

over the area of your bodythat needs the work or healing.

i.e. For a blockage in your sacral orange chakra.You would gather up the stones

that would help this area the most.Place the stone or group of stones over that area

and mediate on the area or problem.

Visualize it slowly dissolvingor being workied out by the energy of the stones

and you being filled with a warm healing light.

Your meditation may lead youto the root cause of the problems



and help you begin to learn from itand let go of it.

Or it might just be a way to help you to relax.Basically the energy is being enhanced with the stones.

But you are doing the work inside.

After your meditation.wash your hands in cool, running water,

re-cleanse your stones to clear the energythat they have absorbed

and then the room of all discharged negative energy.
