look, i didn't want to be a half-blood.if you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book rightnow. believe whatever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth, and try to lead a normallife.being a half-blood is dangerous. it's scary. most of the time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways.if you're a normal kid, reading this because you think it's fiction, great. read on. i envy youfor being able to believe that none of this ever happened.but if you recognize yourself in these pages—if you feel something stirring

Solution is homogenous mixture from 2 or more subtances. Substances that have biggest
amount called solvent while substance that have smallest amount called solute.
berair.
Solutions in which the solute initially is a liquid or a solid substances and the solvent is water
called aqueous solution.
Berdasarkan sifat daya hantar listriknya, larutan dibagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu larutan elektrolit
dan larutan nonelektrolit.
Based on the electrical conductance, solution is divided into 2 categories: electrolyte and
non-electrolyte solutions.
Daya hantar listrik
bergantung pada jenis dan konsentrasi zat terlarut. Dalam larutan ini, zat elektrolit terionisasi
(membentuk ion-ion), yaitu ion positif (kation) dan ion negatif (anion).
Larutan elektrolit dibagi menjadi:
An electrolyte solution is solution that can conduct electricity. Electrical conductance of
solutions depends on type and concentration of solute. In this solutions, electrolyte
substances are ionized (creates ions) that is positive ions (cation) and negative ions (anions).
Electrolyte solutions divided into 2:
a. Strong electrolyte solutions: Solutions that are able to conduct electricity well. This
solutions cause the bulb glows and make bubbles appear.
b. Weak electrolyte solutions: Solutions that are not able to conduct electricity well.
This solutions cause the bulb glows, from dreary to absolutely no glow. If the bulb
doesn’t glow, it can be observed by the appearing of bubbles in one of and/or both
electrodes.

α= ionized number of moles substanceinitialnumber of moles
Zat nonelektrolit terdiri atas zat selain asam, basa
dan garam.
Non-electrolyte solution is a solution that can’t conduct electricity. In this kind of solution
ions are not created, but molecules are created.
The electrolyte substances can only conduct electricity in solutions form.
The problem above is explained by a Sweden scientist named Svante August Arrhenius
(1859-1927) when he presentated his dissertation in Uppsala University on 1884.
mengetahui harga derajat ionisasi (α ¿ yaitu:
c. Jika α=0; maka zat itu adalah zat nonelektrolit.
The differences between strong electrolyte, weak electrolyte and non-electrolyte substances
can be found from ionization degree (α ¿ with this following formula:
a. If α=1; then the substance is strong electrolyte substance.
b. If 0<α<1; then the substance is weak electrolyte substance.
c. If α=0; then the substance is a non-electrolyte substance.

Analisis Data
Data Analysis
I.
The electricity current that passed by HCl and kitchen solution makes the bulb glows and
bubbles appear around the electrodes.
The electricity current that passed by vinegar and ammonia solution doesn’t make the bulb
glows, but bubbles appear around the electrodes.
The electricity current that passed by urea solution and aquadest doesn’t make the bulb
glows and neither nor bubbles appear around the electrodes.
II. PertanyaanQuestions
What makes bulb glows or not?
2. Mengapa larutan elektrolit dapat menghantarkan arus listrik?
Why electrolyte solution can conducts electricity?
Mengapa?
Is it true whether Cl substance in tested materials affects electrical conduction of those
solution? Why?
Is it true whether Cl is the only electrolyte substance?
III. JawabanAnswers
The bulb glows because on the tested materials contain ionized substances and the solution
became electricity current medium to the catode and anode (carbon cylinders). The bulb
doesn’t glow because on the tested materials didn’t happen ionize process and the solution
can’t be electricity current medium to the catode and anode.
Because according to Arrhenius, electrolyte solution contains ions that can move freely.
Because of its electric charge, ions are able to conduct electricity. But electrolyte substance
in other form except solution can’t conduct electricity.
3. Bisa. Karena Cl adalah merupakan zat elektrolit. Setiap larutan yang mengandung zat-zat
elektrolt yang berpasangan dapat menghantarkan listik.
Yes, it is. Because Cl is electrolyte substance. Every solution contains electrolyte substance(s)
can conduct electricity.
Contohnya H+ (aq) + CH3COO- (aq).
No, because there is so many electrolyte substances if it ionized and in solution form can
conduct electricity. For example H+ (aq) + CH3COO- (aq).
Kesimpulan
Conclusion
A.
Because HCl and kitchen salt solution tested make the bulb glows and bubbles appear
around the electrodes, we can conclude that both solutions are strong electrolyte solution
elektrolit lemah.
Because vinegar and ammonia solution tested didn’t make bulb glows, but bubbles appear
around the electrodes, we can concluded that both solutions are weak electrolyte solutions.
nonelektrolit.
Because urea solution and aquadest tested didn’t make bulb glows and neither nor bubbles
appear around electrodes, we can conclude that both solutions are not electrolyte solutions,
but non-electrolyte solutions.

Lelehan senyawa ion dapat menghantarkan arus listrik, sedangkan lelehan (tanpa air;
Berikut
penjelasannya:
The liquid of ionic compound can conduct electricity, while liquid (without water; in liquid
form) of polar covalent compound can’t conduct electricity. This is the explanation:
arus listrik.
The ionic compound wil be apart to ions in water solvent.
E.g.: NaCl (s) → Na+ (aq) + Cl- (aq)
The ionic compound in water solvent and/or in liquid shape can conduct electricity.
Contoh: CH3COOH (aq) →H+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)
Polar covalent compound can conduct electricity in water solvent because its molecules will
be apart to ions.
E.g.: CH3COOH (aq) →H+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)
