1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report is based on the Global Drive Test that was performed for Multan city in W35-2010 (25-08-2010 to 27-08-2010) under the scope of the Optimization Services Contract.



2 DRIVE TEST RESULTS

This section presents the Coverage & Quality of Mobilink network which has been measured during the global drive test. In addition to the Coverage & Quality plots, Network KPIs have also been included in the report.

Alcatel has used TEMS Investigation Drive Test tool for this Air Interface Measurement

and the KPIs have been processed using TEMS Reporter Generator. However, CSSR & CDR are calculated on real count basis so as to have more accurate KPIs.

Call was HO from MUL0887C to remote cell OM8969B for some time which served with degraded quality & level; next HO to potential MUL7926C was ok; 0827_22 Log file

No severe issue observed in stats as well; except for an illogical HO at the time of DT probably due to some UL emergency cause; Change Source: MUL0887C Dest: OMR8969B HOMarginQual from -2 to 0 and will be monitored further in the next DT.

Call dragged on MUL3377B, better condition HO triggered late towards MUL3377C; 0827_01 Log file

To avoid intra cell HO at low levels instead of inter cell; Change Offset_HO_Margin_inner from 10 to 8 on MUL3377B; Change Source: MUL3377B Dest: MUL3377C HOMargin from 5 to 3



4.2.2 Bad Rx_Qual Patches in Plot # 2

Problem Recommendation

Call was HO on to MUL0128F which degraded the quality/SQI due to HW issues on the site. 0827_33 Log file

1- Coverage issue already reported to CP 2- MUL0128 HW issues reported to OAN; HW is

very degraded due to Fluctuations

5 Voice Quality Voice quality is judged upon the Frame erasure rate. Even while experiencing bad Rx_Qual, the voice Quality still could be maintained.

10 Summary & Conclusion The CSSR has maintained on 99.01%.Around 406 calls were attempted and 04 calls were blocked. The HSR remains at 100% with 501 HO attempts. 0 HO failure and 0 Call Drop occurred which were deeply analyzed and Recommendation and actions were also taken accordingly. Bad Quality and Coverage Areas are also highlighted and necessary actions are also taken to resolve the problem.
