investment. The LED market is becoming more mature. Now that affordable solutions with high

efficiencies of 2.6 μmol s-1 per Watt and higher are available; Gavita has entered the LED arena.

THE GAVITA PRO 1650e LED MLThe Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML is a 1650 μmol s-1 fixture withan efficiency of 2.6 μmol s-1 per Watt. ML stands for Multi-Layer, as the array of LEDs provides a uniform spread of light at short distance to the crop. The array configuration of 8 LED bars also allows you to use it in low rooms, over singlebenches, or even in 4x4 ft or 5x5 ft tents.

FORM FACTORThe Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML is a project fixture by design. It installs right out of the box, reducing installation costs. Built around high-quality Philips-Advance drivers and top bin LEDs, the Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML breathes functionality and robustness. Its low height and external interface make it ideal for multi-layer cultivation. Various mounting systems (fixed brackets) are available. We include 4 Sun Grips light hangers with the fixture.

OUTPUT AND EFFICIENCYWith 1650 μmol s-1 total output, the Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML is a typical flowering fixture. It can achieve a high average ppfd of 1000 μmol s-1 m-2 on your crop. For mixed vegetative /flowering environments and to tune the amount of light tothe cultivars you grow, the Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML can be dimmed to 50% without any loss of efficiency. The high fixture efficiency of 2.6 μmol s-1 per Watt enables you to finally leap ahead in reducing your HVAC capacity by about 30-40% compared to regular open HPS/MH solutions. The highefficiency and low powered LED configuration with 8 LEDbars reduces the temperature of the LEDs – increasing the output and improving their light maintenance.

SPECTRUMOur combination of white and red LEDs result in a relatively high ratio of blue light. Blue light keeps your crop compactin the vegetative stage and adds to an optimal morphogenesisand light interception by the plant. It maintains the photo-synthetic system of the plant to optimize its photosynthetic potential and can shorten your flowering period. Blue light also triggers stomatal opening during the light period. The spread of red LEDs in the array guarantees a uniformly mixed spectrum on your crop at short distance. A full spectrum increases the quality of your crop.

EXTERNAL CONTROLThe Gavita Pro 1650e LED ML is compatible with the Gavita Master controllers. It is equipped with an external e-series (Repeater Bus) adapter to which you connect power and control signal. The Gavita repeater bus control interface allows you to install 500 fixtures per controller port by simply daisy chaining the fixtures. The fixture is universal for 120-277 volt systems. Depending on the required voltage, we supply a cable with 120V plug, 240V plug, or open-end cable for industrial voltages and custom installations. The cables are connected to the e-series adapter and the fixture by means of an industrial-grade Wieland connector.
