ROUND 7Radium, Limpopo – September 14th, 2019

The GXCC round 7 was held at the Limpopo venue outside of Bela-Bela deep in the bushveld.

The course was new with new tight sections that was cut through the thorny vegetation. Dust

levels were very high due to the severity of drought. Two of the 65 pilots had a tough day in the

35 degree heat. Donell and Jayden both had crashes and lost loads of time. Jayden was beaten to

12th place by his cousin Donell in 11th place. Jayden had one good lap in 24.49 two minutes

off the leaders pace. Oratilwe had his best finish in GXCC with 7th place with a best lap of

24.10. The 85cc entries were Katlego and KJ. Katlego finished 8th one place behind the KJ who

finished 7th. Both 85 pilots were happy with the results after both did not finish at GXCC6 due

to engine failure. Their best lap times were KJ on 24.11 and Katlego on 24.15. The GXCC

series has one more round left on 12 October (with the MFG series’ last round on 3rd

November). The team will remain in training for these events. The National at TT on the 26

October is tentative for some the team members.
