Gaurav Aggarwal has around two years of working experience with RMSI in Spatial Net & AutoCAD with expertise in Passive Optical Network planning and designing, digitization of the data on AutoCAD and migration of CAD data over the SpatialNet. During his tenure in RMSI, he was involved in project planning, designing and documentation, process coordination and execution, quality assurance and providing technical support to the team members. He has been actively performing the various stages of the FTTP designing including Redline, Spatial and Asbuilts for the Austarlian geography under the guidelines of NBN (National Broadband Network) architecture. In addition to this, he also has a core expertise and knowledge of major telecom domains like GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, EDGE, IMT and IP networking. Moreover, he has around six months of experience with Ericsson under AT&T project.

Currently, Gaurav Aggarwal is responsible for producing the FTTN designs for the Australian geography for the client NBNCo with Tata Communications Limited (TCL). Moreover, he is also responsible for conducting process/technical trainings for the newcomers, submissions of technical proposal, process designing cum quality controller and prototype development for various new projects as part of TCL initiatives.

Service Stream Fixed Communications, Melbourne (Australia), Mar 2013 to June 13The project involves planning, designing & implementation of NBN (National Broadband Network) gigabytes passive optical network using type-2 architecture standards of optical network. Actively involved in designing of FTTx network using AUTOCAD & Spatial Net. Designing of FTTH network includes different stage such as pre- survey, post-survey (Redline & Spatial migration) & As-built development for the NBN Greenfields area as well as Telstra backhaul network.

The three-months of training-cum-handson experience at the client’s side, helped in understanding the different stages of FTTx broadband deployment from the development phase till commissioning under the guidance of experienced planners and designers.

Roles: He is responsible for ensuring the goals and objectives of the designing

are met with full accuracy and efficiency. He also plays a key role in determining the functional requirements of the

designs by analyzing and evaluating the technical requirements of every design and setting up of the milestones during the project execution phase.

He also ensures the timely delivery of designs with quality standards. Provides technical assistance and guidance to the technicians and performs quality checks of the designs including review of the process activities for correctness, completeness and accuracy in adherence to project specifications and client requirements.
