Everyone is different. We have our own dreams and goals, joys and sorrows. Our physical capabilities also vary; in an ideal world our bodies cooperate with us one-hundred percent, but sometimes they need a little help. Life always opens new doors for us, and we aim to be there when that happens – with products that help people take every opportunity for a richer, more mobile life.

GATE is a Swedish mobility products company born out of a long Scandinavian tradition of rehabilitation research and product development. Safety, reliability, comfort and material performance are all parts of this heritage, but we also have a special rule of our own – we never compromise on individual, ergonomic fi t. This is where we can make a real difference. Our attitude towards design is also unique: We want to create products with a value all their own, easy to accept and even – dare we say – to wish for.

GATE focuses on walking aids and solutions for bath and hygiene. All of our products offer that little something extra – a detail, a solution or a material that no one else has. Even the best things can be improved. The RollX™ has a range of practical accessories that meet individual needs even better. The slow-down brake can be set to a desired speed and is ideal for users with insuffi cient hand strength. The hemi-handle is specially designed for hemiplegics and is available in a left-handed and a right-handed model. The tray facilitates all those little everyday tasks. The mesh basket hides away under the seat and makes daily activities easier.

There is only one. Only one rollator that combines an adjustable seat with handles that can be angled in unlimited positions. That can be fully adapted to a given individual, regardless of the user’s needs, with no compromises. That never skimps on one function in favour of another. That replaces all other varieties on the market and combines them into a single model. The all-aluminium frame makes it very stable and light. The RollX™. That’s what we call mobility!

GATE Unique™

The seat has a glove box with space for a wallet, keys and mobile phone.

Continuously adjustable handles, even to the sides. The angle of the handles is easy and safe to adjust with an Allen key.

The seat height is adjustable in nine positions using two brackets on the frame.

Xtraordinary detailsThe RollX™ was developed by a team with many years of experience of rollators. What we have learned is that the needs vary with the individual. We think it’s just silly to have a range of many different models and functions. The RollX™ combines all functions and settings in a single rollator. The fi t is perfect, with enhanced stability and less risk for repetitive-strain injury for the user. We’re particularly proud of the handles, which meet all known needs. This and many other details are unique to GATE.

The RollX™ has a new aluminium design, creating an extra stable rollator with an unusually low weight – plus a design that stands out from the crowd. Weighing in at just 7.8 kilo-grams, the RollX™ is easy to manage and move, even when folded. It has small outer dimensions and a narrow turn radius that provides plenty of room to manoeuvre.

The RollX™ folds up just like a ladder. The spring-assisted mecha-nism makes folding fast, easy and safe. Fully open, an automatic safety lock is activated. A lifting strap makes it easy to pull the folded rollator and also facilitates lifting it.

An individual fi t is standard. Just like every other function you might want.

Handles for everyone. Ergonomically de-signed, forward-facing handles. Unlimited, continuous adjustment in all directions, even horizontal.

Practical brake handles, easily reachable even by small hands. Since the handles work in the hand’s direction, they require very little strength.

Flip-up seat for better accessibility and closer access for walking. Anatomical shape and rounded edges for excellent comfort and enhanced blood circulation.

Visible in the dark – the refl ec-tors on the wheels give a strong visual signal.

Continuous adjustment. The height of the handles allows for continuous adjustment between 69 and 98 cm.

Easy to fold. The RollX™ stands unsup-ported when folded; the spring-assisted mechanism makes folding quick and safe. The basket and its contents can stay in place even when the rollator is folded – unique!

External wire. Brake systems with ex-ternal wires are still the most secure and maintenance-free kind.
