2. How the contribution Xenon as an anesthetic
agent ?
• Xenon is used in many different ways, from high-intensitylamps to jet propellant, and in 1939, its anesthetic propertieswere discovered. As discussed previously, xenon has manyof the properties of an ideal inhalational agent, including thefact that it is odorless, nonpungent, nontoxic, nonexplosive, environmentally friendly, and unlikely to undergo biotransformation due to its stability.
• In addition to these characteristics, as will be shown, xenonhas a rapid onset of action, analgesic properties, a lack ofarrythmogenicity, the ability to maintain cerebralautoregulatory mechanisms and cardiovascular stability, anda quick emergence profile.

The following sections provide a brief discussion ofxenon’s early history, a discussion of its properties, and acomparison of xenon with other anestheticagents.Despite the disadvantages of xenon, such as highcost and limited availability, its pharmacokinetic and
pharmacodynamic properties warrant furtherconsideration. With a quick onset, analgesic properties,
cardiovascular and neurological stability, andenvironment-protective qualities, xenon could very well be the anesthetic of the future

• HighTemperatureGas-cooled
Reactor is a power reactorsoperating at
pressure of 5
MPa and atemperature of ,using 950oCinert heliumcoolant.

5. How to prepared Krypton Difluoride, KrF2 used as a powerful oxidizing agent to oxidize halogen fluorides?
Krypton difluoride has been prepared in gram quantities andcan be made by several methods. A higher fluoride of krypton and asalt of an oxyacid of krypton also have been reported (Hammond,C.R., 2000 ).

• Krypton difluoride may be prepared by the
reaction of krypton with fluorine in anelectric discharge at low pressure and liquidoxygen temperature (Cotton F.A., GeoffreyW., 1972).
• Or made by irradiating krypton withultraviolet rays in a fluorine-argon gasmixture at liquid helium temperature, – 196°F(Schrobilgen G.J., 2002).
Kr + F2 →KrF2 • The product can be stored at – 78°C without
decomposition (Patnaik, pradyot, 2003).

• Krypton difluoride forms complexes withfluorides of many metals, such as arsenic, antimony, tantalum, niobium, gold, and
platinum (Patnaik, pradyot, 2003).KrF2 + SbF5 → KrF+SbF6
¯ KrF2 + TaF5 → KrF+TaF6

• Krypton difluoride is a powerful oxidizingand fluorinating agent. For example, itfluorinates ruthenium tetroxide, RuO4, toruthenium oxytetrafluoride, RuOF4, in liquid
HF (Patnaik, pradyot, 2003).• Krypton difluoride decomposes into its
elements at ambient temperatures (Patnaik, pradyot, 2003).
