- Social Media and SharePoint Adoption: Lead ongoing social media outreach for Windows 7 migration across State Department. Coordinated Department-wide SharePoint users group and organized first State SharePoint Conference for 400 staff.

- IT and SharePoint Planning: Recommend governance and integration with other software: e.g. Mediawiki, Wordpress, Adobe Connect, and personal newsfeed and social networking technology. Drafted SharePoint road maps and analyzed network issues.

- Project Management: Launched Project Management Community of Practice (PPMCOP) at State with support of Undersecretary for Management, other senior managers and 300 attendees, and lead ongoing mentoring initiative. Helped coordinate and staff State exhibit at USAID Knowledge Management Expo. Developed SharePoint templates/methodologies in conference, migration management.

IT and Knowledge Management Officer, USAID/Washington, 2001 to 2006: Facilitated 500 member IT “community of practice”; helped draft USAID Knowledge Management Strategy; managed regional "IT for Development" project in Eastern Europe; supervised training, web, and evaluations for Agency evaluation division.

Program Officer, USAID/Cairo, 1997-2001. Led e-commerce initiative, coordinated a trade mission of 15 U.S. IT firms, and developed a $39 million IT development project. Also designed and implemented economic policy and public health programs in Egypt.

Private Sector and Project Development Officer, USAID/Washington and Overseas, 1979-1997. Coordinated global participation in U.N. (UNCTAD) World Summit on Trade Efficiency. Managed Asia-Near East Bureau Private Sector Division, and organized regional workshops in Jordan and Thailand.
