Gary SimpsonPastoral Ministries Committee

Gary was born and raised in Sardis, B. C., and is a graduate of Canadian Bible College. He has been a pastor

at First Baptist Church in Vancouver as well as Yarrow Alliance, and spent 12 years on staff with Power to Change in University Ministries at the University of Manitoba and University of Calgary.

Gary has been the pastor at Broadway MB since 2003, following in his grandfather, Aron Rempel’s footsteps (who was a Pastor at Yarrow MB). He has 4 Children ages 21-26 and proud grandfather of one girl. He loves Baseball, Golf and motorbike cruising.

serving as the Associate Campus Pastor at Fresno Pacific University from 2001-2003. Trevor graduated from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in April 2003 with an MDiv in Pastoral Leadership and Church Planting. Along with his ministry at Discovery, Trevor has been the pastor of Celebrate Recovery Ridge Meadows an interdenominational ministry in Maple Ridge for the past 10 years. He has also been an active member of the Ridge Meadows Ministerial, serving in numerous executive roles. In addition to his ministry in Maple Ridge he has been involved at CBC as a volunteer chaplain to the Athletic Department for the past 6 years. Trevor and his wife Barb celebrated 25 years of marriage last year and together they have a passion for seeing lives transformed by the power of God's presence actively working in the lives of individuals and the community! They have two children Bryan and Kiana. Bryan is currently teaching high school in Salmon Arm, B.C. Kiana is currently working REFLEX Supplements in Abbotsford B.C and is pursuing a bachelor's degree @ the University of the Fraser Valley.
