received such a warm welcome from

residents, that since then they’ve

called it “HOME”.

In the 30 years since that day nothing

has changed their view of the village

and the villagers.

Gary and Katie have been married for

46 years and they have two married

daughters and seven grandchildren.

Previously Gary was an RAF

engineering apprentice and served in

the Royal Air Force before joining

British Airways flying VC10’s and

he has been very active in local

Council matters especially those that

affect Arborfield.

Gary was first elected a District

Councillor in May 1997 and since

that date he has worked tirelessly for

the residents of Arborfield. If re-

elected with your support Gary would

like to continue working on your

behalf as he believes there is much

more to do. To Gary no task is too

small if it benefits Arborfield and its

residents.

Gary says “I have always vigorously

opposed development that was

damaging to Arborfield. I have also

been very active in trying to solve the

village’s traffic problems with

reasonable success to date”.

Gary believes that a Councillor’s

duty is to represent the needs and

concerns of local residents above

all else. He is always available if
