How hunger affects decision making. Many studies have been conducted to test how hunger

affects the decision making process in both humans and animals alike. In animals, more dangerous prey is hunted when the animal is

close to starvation. In humans, grocery shopping becomes more expensive and often

times, thought processes transition automatically to a food the subject is craving.

A Brief History of Pie Traced back to England called “pyes” stuffed with meat. Modern sweet pies are credited to the Greeks – the creators

of the pastry shell. The first documented Pumpkin Pie was in 1675, credted with

spiced squash. A cook book in 1796 included 3 types of pie, while in 1947,

the cooking encyclopedia included 65 types of pies. Apple pie has become a staple of American Thanksgiving

since.
