Garfield Creek SWA - Garfield County From Interstate 70 at New Castle (exit 105), go 2 miles west and south on County Road 335 to County Road 312, and then 1 mile south (left) to the north end of the property. Parking areas are located on both sides of the road and well-marked with signs.
Wildlife Area Offers:
Hunting: Deer, Elk, Dusky (blue) grouse
Recreation: Wildlife Viewing
Regulations: In addition to or in place of those restrictions listed in regulation #900 the below listed provi-sions or restrictions apply (see Ch. 9, http://cpw.state.co.us/aboutus/Pages/Regulations.aspx).

A. Camping is prohibited, except for seven days be-fore the beginning of regular big game seasons through seven days after the end of regular big game seasons.
B. Hunting is prohibited in the designated safety zone as posted.
C. Hunting is prohibited within 75 yards of the cen-ter line of Garfield Co Rds 312 and 328.
D. Public access is prohibited from December 1 through July 15, except for spring turkey hunters hunting below the junction or small game hunt-ers hunting above the junction of Garfield Co Rds 312 and 328.
E. Dogs are prohibited, except as an aid in hunting. F. Bicycles are restricted to Garfield Co Rds 312 and
328. G. Hunting of dusky grouse and ruffed grouse is
prohibited on the Upper Baldy Tract.
