Each mother is separated
from her team with the
other team. The player that
is hit walks off the field.
The best tactics is to weary
the players from the other
team with a few quick
passes between the mother
and her team.
The player who manages to
catch the ball wins the right
to hit one of the players from
the opposite team. The team
which has at least one player
on the field wins.
Bulgaria NATION BALL
There are two teams in the
game. Each team is usually
from six to eight players.
They have a leader
(consul). The leader‟s place
is at the opposite side,

behind the other team.
The game starts with
throwing a ball between the
leader and the team. The ball
has to pass over the other
team‟s heads without they can
catch it. If anyone of the other
team catches the ball, the ball
becomes theirs. So they start
throwing it.
When this three times throwing are done, the game
continues with throwing ball aimed to hit a player from
the opposite team.
When the player is hit,
he is out of the court. His
teammates can turn him
back to the game by
catching the ball.
The ball can‟t touch the ground when it is thrown. If it
happens, the other team can take it. If the ball touches the
ground and then hit the player he doesn‟t leave the court.

TUG OF WAR
For this game are needed
two teams with equal
number of players and a
long rope.
The players of the two
teams stand at the opposite
sides of the rope holding it.
The rope is marked at the middle of it. There is a line
drawn on the ground. The mark of the rope has to stay
above it.
When the referee gives a
sign, all the players of the
two teams start pulling the
rope.

A KING-A DOORMAN
This is an old informal
game that is played mainly
in the free time. There is no
rule about how many
players can take part in it.
Two of the players hold
their hands forming an arch
with them.
The other players walk in a line
under the arch. At this time, the
first two players sing a song:
Kralyo, Portalyo,
Otvori porti
Da mine tsarya,
Tsarya, gospodarya.
Luzhichka, chiniyka,
Tendzhera, kapak.

When the song is at its end they start taking down
their arms around each player passing under the arch. The
one caught at the last word has to choose between two
words. For example: red or green.
In this way the players are divided in two teams and a
game with two teams can start.

into the crowd.
As players who are in
struggle with the ball,
move the child to throw
and gathered close to each
other. But then the child
with the ball instead of
throw up their children is
likely to send it straight to
the opposite.
What if the catch immediately, can easily find and view
even hit not just one child but two or more, as they have
gathered close to him not providing this strategic
maneuver.
Any child beaten and burned leaves the game. Any child
catching the ball wins a 'apple', equivalent to a "life".
If a child has already hit an apple, can buy this "life", ie
remain, losing the apple. Generally, those apples are so
often the player can escape. But it has the right to donate
the apple of someone which is very frequent, as the most
capable children may have two three a.m. apples.
Usually a child remains in the final. If two children are
outside shed a total of ten times the ball without being hit,

the pin or to throw the mesh
as close as possible to the
other team´s pin.
A match can consist of three games. To be the winner, a

team has to guess the right
word.
It counts a lot to have imagination and a good team which
can make out your desperate signs and gestures. It is not
only a game for children, we rediscovered it during high
school when we used to propose difficult words, most of
them abstract nouns. How would you mime, for
example,”synchronization” or “choice”?
HIDE – AND - SEEK
It is played with at least
three or four children. It is
told a rhyme, for
example:”ANDANTE”-
Un‟doi, trei, alege pe cine
vrei!”, that is,” One, two,
three, chose whoever you
want (to be)”, or something

else similar (to it)!
The children are placed in a circle while one of them
starts saying the rhyme. The participants will be gradually
cleared away by the one who tells the rhyme, that is a
kind of counting. The last child remained is the first who
starts. He/She chooses a place established before with the
other participants, covers his/her eyes and starts counting
by “ten” to “one hundred”. Meanwhile the other children
hide. After the counting stopped, the “doer” has to find in
turns all the children. The one found first is the “doer” in
the next shift.

Each child will need a small
stone for this game. The
children say a rhyme that
establishes the order in
which the kids throw the
stone. So, the stone is cast
away in the established
order.
If the stone touches the line
of the square, then the
throw repeats and if it gets
out of the square, the child
is out of the game. In the
first stage, the stone is
thrown in square number 1,
then the child skips in one
leg till squares number
8,from where he/she turns
back, in the same way till
the square where he/she has
the stone. After taking it,
he/she gets out of the square.
From here he/she repeats the throw in square number 2. If
