TRAVS TRIUMPH THURSDAY: Arkansas led 3-2 after five, then erupted for six runs in the sixth and four more in the eighth to rout the Riders 13-2 at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Juremi Profar led the way for the Riders, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs in the defeat.

RIGHT WHERE THEY BELONG: The Riders are home for 18 of 29 games in May after closing April with 15 of 18 on the road. Despite extended time away, the club handled the long road stretch well, going 11-7 (9-6 on the road). Frisco is off to a great start at home as well, going 8-4 at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

AMAZING APRIL: The Riders closed out April with a 16-9 record, setting the tone well for the rest of the half.• Frisco’s .640 winning percentage was the fourth-best in club history for April.• The winning month was Frisco’s 10th April above .500 through the first 17 seasons in franchise history. Of the first nine

teams to finish the opening month with a winning record, six went on to win the first half.

VERY NICE PENMANSHIP: Early in the season, the Riders bullpen has been a significant bright spot for the club.• The bullpen comes into tonight’s game with a 3.41 ERA, holding opponents to a .231 average.• Three different relievers still have an ERA below 1.00: Walker Weickel (0.52), Jake Lemoine (0.61) and Locke St. John

(0.71).• Riders relievers have collectively not allowed an earned run in 12 of the first 27 games.• All the more impressive, only three of the eight relievers currently with the club had any experience in Double-A prior

to this year, and those three guys had only combined for 36 innings (Locke St. John - 17 IP, Walker Weickel - 13 IP and James Jones - 6 IP).

SAY HELLO TO GUZY: Former Riders infielder Ronald Guzman is scheduled to join the club on a rehab assignment, starting tomorrow, the Rangers announced Friday. Guzman, who played with the Riders in 2016, is working his way back from a right hamstring strain.
