POWER OF PLAY AS A LEARNING TOOL
¿Why is play so important for kids?
Have we ever thought about kids feelings towards play, why they love to play all the
time?
Playing is one of the most important things to do with kids.
The time they spend playing gives them lots of different
ways and times to learn.
Play also helps kids to: develop their intellectual ability,
investigate, discover and distinguish; build confidence;
feel loved, happy and safe; develop social skills, language
and communication; learn about caring for others and
the environment; develop physical skills; connect and
refine pathways in her brain.
We can distinguish between:
Kids play in a free way with no external imposition, so they can express themselves with spontaneity.

Games with clear aims are proposed, encouraging and creating habits and learning.
