Trip to Galveston, TXMay 17, 2008

Ryan’s work offers several activities throughout the year for employees and their families, so the first function we attended was a trip to Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX. It is about an hour’s drive from our new home and they have multiple attractions. Quentin and Jen walked around the grounds while Ryan got the all-day passes.

When Ryan finally caught up to us, we had found a playground with giant equipment. Quentin cried as we had to tear him away from it or we would’ve made a long drive just to play on a playground, which we could’ve found hundreds of playgrounds much closer to home if that is all we were going to do.

2At one of the pyramid exhibits, we walked around a rain forest stocked full of plants AND wildlife.

We saw fish and birds of all colors.

While Daddy was at an IMAX show, we stopped for a drink and took a walk along the shore.

And wouldn’t you know it? We found another playground!!

We met up with Dad and headed to the aquarium.

We saw lots of fish and seals

and sharks. Quentin could identify almost everything he saw!

It was a great time!
