Fun Run The Fun Run will take place on September 17th, 2010 at Chenoweth Elementary School.

Kids- Here is what you need to do:• Check out the prize list inside and

set a goal for how much you would like to raise.

• Take your Donation Sheet/Envelope with you and ask people you know to support you in the Gallop-a-Thon.

• Bring Back your envelope/money on the following days to pick from our awesome prize bucket: - Wednesday, September 8, - Friday, September 10, - Monday, September 13 and - Wednesday, September 15.Students who turn in money on these dates are eligible for the “extra prizes” from the Prize Bucket. The total amount collected by September 16, 2010 will determine the prize level for the student.

• Bring Back your envelope/money on Thursday, September 16th - the Day before the Event - for the final collection! Make sure you have your parent sign for you to participate - NO SIGNATURE, NO GALLOP!

• Come to school on Friday, Septem-ber 17th ready to GALLOP!

Gallop-a-Thon PTA “Fun-raiser!”

Something NEW is about to happen at Chenoweth! Every year, with the help of our students, the PTA raises funds for our school. This money goes to support the students and staff at Chenoweth. But, this year, instead of sending our children out to sell gift wrap and trinkets, we are going to get the kids moving in our first annual Gallop-a-Thon Fun Run! Every student is being asked to collect donations in support of their participation in our Gallop-a-Thon Fun Run. Each student can earn prizes based upon the level of donations they receive for this annual event. Keeping students aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle is a goal of the Gallop-a-Thon. We want them to learn that physical activity can be fun and can earn much needed items for our school. This year the PTA would like to focus our spending on upgrading our technology in the building and classrooms. To do this, we need a lot of support from our parents and families. It’s time to get moving, kids!
