Wells at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on July 10. Sgt. Wells is an in- structor at Camp Boca Ratone. Mrs. Wells will retum to Mar- garetville in the fall and resume her duties as music teacher in the Margaretville central school. Johnson-Haynes Miss Lena Haynes, R. N.', daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Haynes of Seager, became the bride of Gerald Johnson of Halcott Center at Fleischmanns Thursday eve- ning, July 29. Mrs. Paul Jcdmson, cousin of the bride, and Earl John- son, brother of the groom, were the attendants at the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of Mar- garetville high school -and Kings- ton Sdiool of Nursing. The groom is a graduate of Fleischmanns high school. They will make their home at Fleischmanns. Newcomb is studying an advanced course in aviation logistics. Many Attend Farewell Given Departing Leader A farewell was given County Club Agent John A. Lennox and Mrs. Lennox at the Shankitunk camp near Delhi Friday night of last week. Seventy-five board members, their families, club leaders and 90 campers attended. Mr. and Mrs. Lennox were given a scrap book bulging with letters from board members, lead- ers, members and parents, and several books of war stamps. M C. Carpenter of the 4-H board read a resolution regretting the departure of the Lennoxes after 21 years of club work in the county. Albert Hoefer, state dub leader, declared that although Delaware was sorry to see Mr. Lennox de- part he was glad, because he was needed in the state office.
