Georgia Department of Human Services

PURPOSE

The iWORC Committee was created through a collaboration between the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Division of

Family & Children Services (DFCS).

The committee seeks to enhance the effectiveness of existing employment resources and connect customers to education and/or

workforce-related services.

VISION STATEMENT

• To improve employment and training service delivery across the State of Georgia.

• To collaborate with like organizations to provide services to low-income individuals and families.

• To work in partnership internally to share lessons learned and participant engagement methodologies.
