INTRODUCTION
New online registration system developed by Servasport and the I.T. committee in Croke Park.
It is a club membership management system that allows clubs to:
-Register All Club Players
-Register Full and Youth Members
-Register Club Executive Committee
-Generate Team Lists in Irish and English
-Communicate by bulk text message and email
-Record payment of fees in the club

COMPULSORY SYSTEM
System Compulsory and must be used to complete 2010 registrations
Only full members registered on system before April 1st can vote at AGM later on in year
Clubs must register ALL players i.e. juvenile and adult
Players not registered are illegal to play

PROGRESS TO DATE
System rolled out in 22 counties at moment
Over 900 clubs used system to register in 2009
Over 230,000 people registered this year
10 counties to come on board in next few months

DATA REQUIRED
Full Members: Name and Address
Youth Members: Name, Address and Date of Birth
All Players: Name, Address and Date of Birth
Note: Players must be either registered Youth or Full Members

ADVANTAGES
Will provide us with a database of players, members and officers
Will facilitate better communication with members
Will allow us to investigate the issuing of membership cards
Will be a great aid to administration in the club

ACCESS, COST AND DATA PROTECTION
System is FREE to clubs
Only other cost to the club is for the purchase of text messages.
Data Protection
Under no circumstances should a club pass the information held on the system to any third party
This includes any commercial company
Usernames and passwords should not be shared in the club

NEXT STEPS
County Tutors trained to by Croke Park to train the club registrars
Club can provide membership data on a standard spreadsheet for uploading onto system.
Club registrar attends training evening – note: person will need broadband access at home/college/work
Club registrar given password and can then proceed to use the system to complete registrations

CONCLUSION
Feedback from clubs and counties is positive
This system is a great aid to club and county administration
Registration just a ‘tick the box’ exercise
Only 3-4 hours work each year for average club to do registration
Support for clubs
Manual provided
Phone support provided up to 10 p.m. each night 6 days a week
