POSTERS, ADVERTISEMENTS, AND OTHER GRAPHICS

Posters came in to use during the 19th century as lithographs.

Many artists made extra money designing them because they were so fast and easy to design.

Have fallen out of favor as a use of communication since the 1950’s, but are still considered an art form and a dramatic attention getter.
