The foundation of Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S took place in 1969. At that time the company was owned by Villy Bøllingtoft.

Now many years later the company is back in the Bøllingtoft family as Jackie Bøllingtoft (son of Villy Bøllingtoft) is now the owner.

Seaflex – Test loading

SafeTbag – Test loading using water We are introducing SafeTbag Water

Load Bags for test loading using water. They save time, they are safe and flexible, and they offer an economical way of carrying out test loading.

SafeTbag Water Load Bags are used on harbour cranes, ship cranes and offshore cranes, but industrial cranes can also benefit from test loading using water as ballast.

Rigging Equipment

We have specialized in supplying rigging equipment, e.g. welded chain slings, to the offshore oil & gas industry. Our goal is to supply quality rigging equipment that has the desired quality in accordance with customer requirements.

We offer a wide range of various Welded Chain Sling, e.g. container chain slings – Certified to DNV 2.7-1. The product range also includes Master Links and Quad Assemblies designed for use in the offshore oil industry.

Flat Braided Wire Slings

Flat Braided Wire Slings are made from 10 single wires, consisting of Aircraft Cable Quality in construction 7×7 or 7×19. This construction provides a very flexible sling with a good contact surface.

All slings are made in our own workshop – therefore, we are able to supply customer-specific lengths and diameters. The slings can be constructed with or without thimbles.


Casing Slings Wire Slings

We have specialized in casing wire slings – as well as all other types of wire slings for the offshore industry. From our rigging shop we are able to supply wire slings according to customer specifications.

Torpedo Sockets

Cable Laying Equipment


Torpedo Sockets

Used for socketing grapnel and streaming rope. The slim shape enables the joints to run freely through the different winch systems.

Fits Gunnebo connecting link and swivel, which facilitates the joining of more lengths of rope and linking with various grapnels.

The torpedo sockets are made from high tensile steel which is then electro galvanized.

The socketing is done with “Wirelock”. The Wirelock is a two-component cold-hardening product that does not require other agents for embedding


Grapnel & Streaming Ropes

Deep Sea Combination Rope / Grapnel & Streaming Ropes Since the mid-90s, Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S has supplied equipment to cable laying vessels.

During the late 90s, this led to a collaboration with Tele Danmark Marine regarding the development of the unique Deep Sea Combination Rope.

This rope has subsequently gone on to win international recognition, and is now used by all major operators in the cable laying industry.
