Presentation in brief of the Organization:

Futuro Digitale Association works to promote youth empowerment through concrete possibilities of development connected to e-learning, traineeship and personalised patterns of working periods. For instance, together with the Department of Business and Law of Cosenza University, the Association has structured a formative liaison which allows students to work and learn at the same moment in order to be introduced to the job market. What is more, Futuro Digitale officially obtained the role as job agency by the Ministry of Labour – this is implemented through non-formal education strategies which enable youth to further reflect on employability skills and entrepreneurship. Futuro Digitale hosts volunteers and trainees within the Erasmus for young Entrepreneurs programme, Erasmus traineeship and he has recently received the accreditation as sending and coordinating organization for the EVS (European Voluntary Service). Furthermore, Futuro Digitale supports youth in obtaining micro-credit loans through specific tutoring aimed at supporting all the bureaucratic passages. The tutoring is based on on-going support and relation with the micro-credit applicant. Another important field of action is the promotion of the EU Citizenship and solidarity among youngsters and Istitutions. The Association supports local authorities, public and private non-profit organizations and citizens, with particular reference to young people and disadvantaged groups, in accessing European funds and other opportunities offered by the European Union. About 100 youngsters in 2 years have done European mobility experiences with the Association. Futuro Digitale fosters the dissemination of information about the initiatives and opportunities promoted by the European Union in different fields, through both internet and social networks, and organizing specific public events. With regards to ICT, Futuro Digitale works with e-learning to promote certifications for digital competences. The ICT-media team is led by the president Antonio Gallo, who is restyling the association website at the moment. Antonio Gallo is an ICT engineer and he dedicates himself to ICT education and activities to contrast digital divide. Futuro Digitale has already realized three websites and two platforms, organized two training courses, one for disabled children, about the use of new technologies. Finally, Futuro Digitale has been official partner of the event European CODE Week 2014, the European week for the promotion of coding, by organizing an event for students on the following topics: the platform "Scratch" that allows you to create animations, comics and games; WordPress to create websites; interaction with social networks. Please briefly present the partner organisation

Futuro Digitale, hereafter FD (registered in the Transparency Register held at the European Commission at No. 481940312180-28; promotes SOLVIT, by the European Commission), established in February 2013, is a non-profit organization, founded on the ideals of the Project Policoro of the Italian Episcopal Conference. FD operates according to the principles of Policoro Project, with the aim of creating growth opportunities in social, cultural and technological "network", inspired by the union between local development and social inclusion in an European context, with the understanding that the full social integration of people, in particular young people, is prerequisite for the development of the territory. FD has as its purpose the promotion of youth entrepreneurship (in fact, promotes, thanks to the protocol signed with the Point of Contact Local MateraHub Cultural and Creative Industries in Matera, the European Programme “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs”); it is involved in the design and delivery of services for young people, particularly young people in difficulty, with the support of technology, in order to reduce the digital divide; it works in the fields of education, training, labor market and youth policies at the European level, for creating concrete actions that can be useful to link education with job opportunities. It has also been very active in sending young people to the Erasmus+ Programme (former "Youth in Action"). In adherence to the ONU Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the United Nations on 24 February 2009, the Association, for the purposes of its mission, aims also to sensitize the institutions and civil society on the levels of accessibility for people with disabilities to formal education and informal and on their level of satisfaction in relation to the services offered, in order to facilitate their social inclusion. In particular, deals with computing and disability, with the aim of promoting the participation of people with disabilities in all areas of life, through the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). FD promotes, in general, the valorisation of the issues of social inclusion of people with social disadvantage, facilitates the participation of "different" in everyday life through socio-cultural and recreational services as well. Works with some third sector and institutional; has participated in several national and international projects. In particular:

participated in the management of the Project Volunteer "Art in the hands: Embroidery & mending. Facilitate the transition of knowledge between older and younger "made by the Mondi Vicini's Fund of Scalea. In this project, FD has organized and managed some volunteer activities and helped to monitoring the entire project, providing the know-how in the field of project managment;

managed the ICT Course for disabled children as part of the planned activities of the project "Insieme verso il futuro" led by the Cooperative “Il Girasole”;

has worked with the organization BABA Bhagwan DASS EDUCATION SOCIETY-GM SCHOOL of Mothuka-INDIA, participating, for the months of April and May 2014, in a series of video

conferences on the exchange of good practices on International Voluntary Service, aimed at sharing of methodologies and techniques for the management of EVS projects and in particular on the methodologies of the coordination and monitoring;

collaborated with HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY EUROPEAN UNION OFFICE of Turkey, in the months of February and May 2014, an exchange of good practices on International Voluntary Service, aimed at sharing of methodologies and techniques for the management of EVS projects and in particular on the methodologies of coordination and monitoring;

is partner of Erasmus KA2 entitled "OVERHOPE (Hope, anticipation, expectancy = Overcome homelessness of young people)" funded in Germany (2014-1-DE04-KA200-000889) and dealing with the problem of youth homelessness .

FD has got a wide network of partners, that is the mean by which it can ensure a big number of contacts and experiences for young people participating in the activities. FD has signed, in the first 16 months of operation, 78 Memoranda of Understanding, both nationally and internationally, with organizations, companies, foundations, universities and public bodies. For istance, the protocol with SOFF (Service Orientation and Training Requirements) of the Province of Cosenza, with the Foundation “Paolo di Tarso” and Eurokom - EUROPE DIRECT Calabria Region. FD is also member of many platforms at national and international level: ERIFO, Euro-Net, EILD, Aleteia, Citizens for Europe, European Centre for Civil Resources. Adheres: the Capacity Building Programme for Lifelong Learning Consortium (an International group led by CSCS Italy) and the Europemobility Open Network Member. http://www.futurodigitale.org/network/ http://www.futurodigitale.org/partner-2/

FD collaborates with The Academy of Italy with whom it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Through close collaboration with the Academy, is proposed as a priority objective to recover, preserve and disseminate local traditions and traditional music, for promoting cultural heritage among youth, through innovative and artistic activities. FD has collaborated with the Academy for two projects:

1. SHORT FILM PROJECT "CANDIES" directed by the Director Raffaella VACCARO under the patronage of the Province of Cosenza Department of Culture and Youth Policy

2. SHORT FILM PROJECT RIPPED "women's hearts", an outstanding social awareness short film That Reveals the "endless" violence against women multifaceted Throughout the generations. The Ripped "women's hearts" helping to end the violence against women is a not for profit film production, using a strong voice media to campaign for change. This short film contributes to a closer understanding of what is about violence against women as well as celebrating The Importance of women in cinematography. It is Also a cultural joint venture between Italy and England, directed by Salvatore Asta and produced by Academy of Italy (Rome) in partnership with the Italian Cultural Centre of Bristol. It is Entirely made in Bristol and interpreted by three professional Inglese actresses who joined the social project, Sandy Slade, Jasmine Atkins-Smart and Catherine Barrett.

FD also works with Time Heritage Ltd. Aphrodite Kamara & Co for providing services and consultancy in the field of Cultural Heritage Management an enhancement, particularly through interdisciplinary actions. Together, we develop activities that includes specialized seminars on CH-related issues (archeology, archeometry, museum studies, Cultural Heritage Management, history etc), conservation of works of art, digitization of collections and archives, content development for digital enhancement of museums and sites , research projects, writing, translating and publishing books related to Cultural Heritage as well as organizing conferences on similar topics.

FD has signed Memoranda of Understanding and collaborates with Juventus Club Doc (sports club Juventus) and the MULTI SPORTS Murialdo of Rossano to promote the sports of basketball, soccer, volleyball. Were organized soccer tournaments to 11, 5 football, women's volleyball and men's basketball.

In addition, the Association is Move Agent 2014 of:

Move Week, European Week campaign which promotes sport and physical activity to encourage wider participation in sport and physical activity

Futuro Digitale: -is Member of the Sub-Network "Tourism and the Mediterranean" Unimed - (Union of the University of the Mediterranean). Objectives of the sub network are: to collect information directly from the actors in the sector, in the euro Mediterranean, and contribute to the creation of a database specifically dedicated; conduct studies, analysis and research on issues related, with particular reference to the development of sustainable tourism; facilitate and stimulate dialogue and mutual exchange of information, in order to create new collaborations, partnerships and develop joint projects; organize international events (workshops, seminars, conferences, performances) to help improve the flow of knowledge and exchange of experiences among researchers and scholars; activities to disseminate and promote the actions of the members of the network, through the use of email newsletters targeted, online news site, links; research resources for the realization of projects born from the networking of experiences and ideas. -promotes the project MEDITERRANEAN DIET (UNESCO's Intangible Heritage of Humanity) Cultural Foundation Paul of Tarsus, with which the FD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This is the first project of ethics in the world Italian food that is circulated through the Internet (and not only) Healthy Food Italian certificate that he had the support of the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. The Cultural Foundation "Paul of Tarsus" was also identified as a frontrunner for the realization WORLD EXPO MEDITERRANEAN DIET which will take place in 2016 and which aims to make the central market of the high Mediterranean Diet foods that make up the Southern Italy . The goal is to create moments of alternation between study and work in the educational processes and facilitate career choices through direct knowledge of the world of work; b) Fincalabra SpA-Calabria region, as Regional Operator for the management of technical investigations of requests for access to microcredit loans to start new businesses youth. c) Ministry of Labour, which has obtained the authorization and registration in the Register of Information Technology Staffing Agencies for the supply of vacancies and applications, performing the function of "Intermediary" (code L124S012728) ie mediation activities between demand and supply of labor, including in relation to the labor of disabled and disadvantaged groups of workers. d) FD is the promoter and founder of the Coordination of Southern Italy for the Promotion of Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation and Development, together with the Association “Diversamente Irpinia” and with the support of the Foundation “Paolo di Tarso”, (www.futurodigitale.org / coordination-south Italy /).

What are the skills and expertise of key staff/persons involved in this application?

The staff of Futuro Digitale is composed by experts in new technologies, entrepreneurship and EU projects. The Project Coordinator , Dr. Vincenzo Apa, has numerous skills and experiences. Member of the European Register of Euro-projects Designers and Managers, graduated in Economics and qualified as a chartered accountant and auditors with experience in the field of business consulting. He has gained a privileged experience in the field of local development and territorial cohesion, with accreditation as Agent of Local Development at the FORMEZ , and the project Policoro Italian bishops' conference as a member of the national coordination of Microcredit xi Diocesan youth. He holds the Europass Training with two qualifications ( Manager of Local Development and International Marketing Expert and Training Services Achieved Within the European Training Course in Alternation " The Work in European Enterprises Trough Training) . Joined in the albo regional teachers Calabria and Basilicata and Eupolis - accredited Superior Institute for Research , Statistics and Training . Coordinator of two training courses funded by the Region of Calabria for aspiring young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs already started. in 2012 obtained the degree in business administration from the University of Cosenza with specialization in the field of foundations and non-profit organizations in the international context. Dr. Paolo Montemurro , graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences , with research carried out in the Netherlands at Universiteit Leiden , before collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Directorate General for Economic Co-operation and Development) and the Ministry of Economic Development projects of international and regional cooperation . Since 2008 he is responsible for Project Planning as a consultant for public and private entities , specializing in European initiatives in the areas of : Lifelong Learning (focus undertakings), Environment ( Sustainable Development and Eco -Tourism) ; Economic Cooperation ( Migrant Banking), Entrepreneurship and Internationalisation ; ICT and R & D for companies and smart communities. Project manager MOBILITAS , Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, and is involved in entrepreneurship education for schools, young people and disadvantaged groups. Dr. Marco De Cave has graduated as a master student in Peace&Development in Sweden. He worked before at local level in social services, like Eurodesk, implementing different types of projects (a youth-owned library, the ‘Bank of Time’ and different artistic products, like books and events). He has worked in Brussels within a European NGO with Europe for Citizens projects, EIDHR and Youth in Action planning. He is working as junior project manager for different NGOs at the moment. Dr. Francesco Zaralli has attended the master course in European project management accreditated by M&MOCS (International research centre of Mathematics and mechanics of complex systems from joint universities of L'Aquila and La Sapienza). He has been the service coordinator for the Eurodesk territorial antenna of the municipality of Cori, to foster the youth mobility among the local youths; at the same time he managed several youth mobility projects. He has made a set of services available, adding consultancy to European funds, the proposal design and the proposal management for free among other things.
