FUTURE ENVISIONING BREAKFASTS Brainstorming Session

description

This is a presentation I made to explain what the Future envisioning breakfasts are, and what we are trying to achieve. We are trying to develope a specific methodology to incentivize a thinking process that will allow participants to think about different visions of the future in terms of the main elements of their sector and their requirements from the urban environment. The brainstorm will help our team to collect ideas on tools and methods to use with participants. This activities are a part of the Liveable Cities project. three stePs

objectives questions

1. Understanding the structure of the sector today

2h

1. What does the sector do? Who is involved? Where does it do it? How does it do it?

1.2. How has the sector evolved? Interacting with what elements (eg. Political choices influence the sector etc.)

3. Radical envisioning

2. Imagining

3. Participants’ minds must be challenged to think outside the boundaries of their imagination to conceive ideas beyond what is considered possible or acceptable.

2. Imagine “preferable” futures for the sector. What will be the major changes? How will it be structured?
