Future Tense
• There are two sets of future endings. The set used is determined by a verb’s conjugation.
• For 1st and 2nd conjugation, you use the present stem and add bo, bis, bit, bimus, bitis, bunt
• For 3rd and 4th conjugation, you use the present stem and am, es, et, emus, etis, ent
• Future tense can be recognized by b-vowel (not a) combinations, and ie, but can be difficult to distinguish for regular 3rd conjugation verbs

• Passive endings are created by exchanging the active endings for r, ris, tur, mur, mini, ntur
• Translations use the word “will” or “will be __ed”

Future Perfect Active
• Used to indicate an action that will be past at a future point in time
• Future perfect active is created by using the stem from the 3rd principal part
• Add endings ero, eris, erit, erimus, eritis, erint (future tense of sum)
• Use the translation “will have”Ex. revocaveris culpaverimus
