Thermal Performance Thermal Performance Fusion's external wall system provides class leading thermal performance in terms of U-value (actual), linear thermal transmittance (Psi values) and air tightness. Fusion’s technical team will provide advice and assistance to meet your thermal performance requirements. U-Value The external wall achieves an excellent elemental U-value of 0.21 W/m 2 K when used in association with a masonry outer skin. We can provide advice on achieving required U-values with lightweight cladding build-ups. Psi Values All Fusion junctions and openings have been thermally modelled and have had linear thermal transmittance (Psi) values calculated. These are generally superior to the default values contained in the new Part L and allow more favourable values to be entered in energy performance calculations. Air Tightness The elemental air tightness of the panel is 0.8 m 3 /m 2 h and tests on finished buildings have achieved air-tightness values of < 5 m 3 /m 2 h – well ahead of the 10 m 3 /m 2 h recommended as the default value in Part L of the UK regulations.

Thermal PerformanceThermal Performance

Fusion's external wall system provides class leading thermal performance in

terms of U-value (actual), linear thermal transmittance (Psi values) and air

tightness. Fusion’s technical team will provide advice and assistance to meet

your thermal performance requirements.

U-Value

The external wall achieves an excellent elemental U-value of 0.21 W/m2K

when used in association with a masonry outer skin. We can provide advice

on achieving required U-values with lightweight cladding build-ups.

Psi Values

All Fusion junctions and openings have been thermally modelled and have

had linear thermal transmittance (Psi) values calculated. These are generally

superior to the default values contained in the new Part L and allow more

favourable values to be entered in energy performance calculations.

Air Tightness

The elemental air tightness of the panel is 0.8 m3/m2h and tests on finished

buildings have achieved air-tightness values of < 5 m3/m2h – well ahead of

the 10 m3/m2h recommended as the default value in Part L of the UK

regulations.
