What does Fusion mean?Two definitions:A process in
which different styles, ideas, materials and / or designs combine to form something new.
A process in which two different substances or pieces of a substance join together to form one thing.

This is Not a Time for Dreaming
A film created by Pierre Huyghe in 2004. It is a puppet musical exploring the architecture of one building in USA designed by Le Corbusier.It fuses fantasy and historical fact.

Robert RauschenbergRobert Rauschenberg 1925 –2008)was an American painter and graphic artist who was part of the Pop Art movement in USA.He was best known for his COMBINES made in the 1950’s which used unusual materials and objects together in different and original ways. Sometimes they combined painting and sculpture with printmaking photography papermaking and performance.He lived and worked in New York and in Florida.

The architect David Chipperfield fused old and new elements in the “Neuses Museum” Berlin.

The contemporary architect David Chipperfield redesigned the bomb flattened ruin of the Neues Museum in Berlin. The original museum designed in 1859 by Fredrich Stuler was excavated.All the original features that could be kept were kept. Chipperfield then added marble and glass ultra modern stairwells and pillars.

FusionArts Museum is New York’s only visual art space dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of fusion art. The building has been a fixture on the Lower East Side art scene since the 1980s. The gallery has been in existence since June of 2000.
