Seiko AZ and A Zone Double-Aspheric Lenses
Seiko’s double aspheric lenses are designed to minimise spherical and astigmatic aberrations by aligning the focal points of both axes. The centre of each lens has a 10mm spherical design allowing for easy adaptation. Double aspheric lenses have aspheric designs on both the front and the inner surfaces manufactured using freeform technology. Plus powers can be made down to 50mm in 1mm steps. The AZ minimises spherical and astigmatic aberrations up the lens edges, the A-Zone divides the lens into the inner comfort zone and the outer stylish zone and are up tp 10% thinner than AZ lenses.
Seiko Indi-SV Lenses
Seiko’s Indi-SV lenses differ from their double aspheric lenses as they are individually designed for every Rx combination. The lenses also consider advanced measurements for each spectacle frame. Ideal for complex prescriptions as the Super Atoric design ensures optimum thickness and weight reduction. Pds, vertex distance, pantoscopic angle and face form angle must be included to provide the wearer with the best optical performance. Tints are not available on Transitions.
Seiko VSX
Seiko Synergy VSX progressives are freeform surfaced lenses with a spherical curve on the front of the lens and the progression and Rx powers cut onto the back surface. It has three progressive corridors of 10, 12 and 14mm with recommended minimum fitting heights of 15,19 and 21mm.
Synergy Xtra
Seiko Synergy Xtra progressives are freeform surfaced lenses with a spherical curve on the front of the lens and the progression and Rx powers cut onto the back surface. It has three progressive corridors of 10, 12 and 14mm with recommended minimum fitting heights of 15,19 and 21mm.
Seiko Emblem Xtrawide
Seiko Emblem Xtrawide progressives are freeform surfaced lenses with spherical curve on the front of the lens and the progression and Rx powers cut onto the back surface. Seiko Emblem Xtrawide lenses have a flatter base curve in comparison to most inner surface progressives together with advanced prism thinning calculations. It has three progressive corridors of 10, 12 and 14 mm with recommended minimum fitting heights of 15,19 and 21mm.
Seiko Prime X and Prime Xceed
Seiko Prime X and Prime Xceed progressives are freeform surfaced lenses with spherical curve on the front of the lens and the progression and Rx powers cut onto the back surface. Seiko Prime X and Prime Xceed use a calculation program that looks at each eye individually called Twineye Modulation Technology. The lenses have variable progressive corridors of 10mm with a minimum fitting height of 15mm down to 21mm minimum fitting height for the 16mm corridor. Prime X requires standard fitting procedures whereas Prime Xceed require fully individualised fitting parameters.Seiko Drive X Progressive
The Seiko Drive X Progressive lens is designed for patients demonstrating signs of stress while driving in the dark. This lens is optimised for each eye and the patient will be supplied with fine tuning to their needs in order to increase definition for distance vision and the elimination of blurred edges. This product is automatically supplied with the Seiko RoadClearCoat (RCC). Recommended fitting height of 23mm.
Free Form Plastic Vocational Seiko Indoor 100/200
The Seiko Indoor is a back surface freeform generated lens designed for indoor use from 30cm to 4 metres. The fitting cross contains 40% of the Addition and the lenses should be fitted at zero visual direction. There is a choice of two corridor lengths either 20 or 23 mm making it suitable for frames depths of 27 mm or more. Minimum fitting heights of 17 and 19 mms
Seiko Indoor PC
The Seiko Indoor is a back surface freeform generated lens designed for indoor use from 30cm to 2 metres. The fitting cross contains 40% of the Addition and the lenses should be fitted at zero visual direction. There is a choice of three degression powers -1.00, -1.50 and -2.00
Low Addition Seiko Extensive Vision
The Seiko Extensive Vision lens is designed for patients demonstrating the first signs of presbyopia and experience discomfort after regularly changing focus from distance to near. The near portion has an addition of +0.75D. Available with prism to 3 Δ
