All types of projects are eligible including: dwellings, duplexes, units and group housing educational, religious, community or health

care buildings master plans small or large scale retail, hotels, office

or industrial developments sustainability initiatives

For prep, primary, secondary and tertiary students

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

StatementPlease include a short typed statement of A4 size (double spaced and single sided) covering:

Objectives and philosophy of the project.

Description of the works.

Chronological summary of critical steps in the project.

Summary of the major problems encountered and how these were overcome.

Comment on the end result and the applicant's view as to why the entry deserves an award and any other consideration which will assist the Judging Panel in its assessment of the nomination.

PhotographsA minimum of ten digital photographs saved at 300dpi on CD or USB Flash Drive, suitable for display or reproduction.

DrawingsWhere appropriate please provide copies of sketches, floor plans, elevations and details to illustrate the work, all reduced to preferably A4 (297mm x 210mm) size.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Judging of submissions will occur in July 2017by independent judges.

Each category has its own judging criteria. For further information about the judging criteria please refer to Council's webpage.

CONDITIONSThe project/site must be located within the Ipswich Local Government Area.

The project and all relevant approvals are normally completed in the current and/or preceding year.

The owner's approval must be sought and given on the nomination form.

All types of projects are eligible including: commercial Greening community Greening green Schools Commitment rural Greening street Greening ten tear greening stewardship young environmental volunteer of the year sustainability initiatives

All types of projects are eligible including: design projects environmental projects local history projects oral history recordings school centenary projects sustainability initiatives

All types of projects are eligible including: adaptive reuse of heritage sites heritage education and promotion - books, oral

histories and websites maintenance of heritage buildings including

colour schemes restoration of a building to an earlier

or original appearance sympathetic additions to an original building sustainability initiatives
