Further clarification on IK income: 24 December 2013

After receiving the evidence showing clearly there was no so-called contradiction in

Chairman PTI Imran Khans tax returns for 2012 only an error in incomplete reading of

the FBR and ECP documents, Umar Cheema sought another clarification from us

regarding so-called discrepancies in the sources of income stated in the ECP document

and the FBR documents. Having checked the record of both, it again is clear that the

mistake or discrepancy is not on the part of Imran Khan, but on the part of the

investigative reporters. They have only taken the Agricultural income of the Chairman but

not added up the total income sources which are given in the documents. The relevant

documents are attached and a summary presented below which are self evident of nodiscrepancy or misstatement on the part of the Chairman PTI. It is regretful that such

clarification was not sought earlier which would have prevented an injustice done to the

Chairman. We hope that the corrections will be given equal space in the newspaper that

published the incorrect data.
