and water is available. Female lions are the main hunters. While they’re out looking for food, the

males guard the pride’s territory and their young.

Craft Instructions – Roar – Make a Lion Mask!

1. Print the templates below.

2. Paint a paper plate orange or yellow.

3. Color the lions head the same color as the plate.

4. Color and cut out the strips for the mane. If you prefer you can use a strip as a template and trace it on

construction paper.

5. Glue the strips of construction paper around the rim of the painted paper plate.

6. Glue the lions face onto the paper plate, centered.

7. Cut out the eyes of the lion.

8. Finally glue a large popsicle stick onto the bottom of the plate for a handle.
