Why Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid? Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid is a women’s organisation. Run by women, for the benefit of women. For over 40 years we have listened to, believed and supported thousands of women and children across Birmingham and Solihull to live free from fear and violence.

BSWA provided me with the first counsellor I have felt anything close to comfortable talking to about the abuse I suffered.

FundraisingIdeas to inspire…

As a small charity, the easiest and most impactful way you can help us is by doing something fun, engaging and creative to raise money for our work. Here are some ideas to get you started:lChallenge yourselves! Run a marathon, climb a mountain or skipping in your back garden. Push yourself, and think of something innovative that others will want to support! You can use www.justgiving.com/Birminghamsolihullwomensaid to collect your pledges

lUse https://givepenny.com/charity/birmingham-and-solihull-womens-aid to fundraise for us with creative ideas with Twitch, Strava or Spotify

lP-P-Purple! The colour of the women’s movement, and a very easy way to brand a themed day, or sponsored Hair Dye

lAs our organisation started in the 1980s, what about an 80s themed party or dress down day?
