Screen Resolution• Screen resolution is the number of pixels• The image on your computer screen is built up from thousands or

millions of pixels

• The screen creates the image you see by changing the colours of these tiny square elements.

• The screen resolution tells you how many pixels your screen can display horizontally and vertically.

• It's written in the form 1024 x 768. In this example, the screen can show 1,024 pixels horizontally, and 768 vertically:

File System

• In computing, a file system is used to control how data is stored and retrieved

• . By separating the data into pieces and giving each piece a name, the information is easily isolated and identified.

How to manage file and folder using window?

• File management is organizing and keeping track of files and folders,

• helping you stay organized so information is easily located.

• In windows we have file explorer so we can manage our files with file explorer.

How to back up a folder?• In setting we will choose back up and restore.

• And then we will select from the Let me choose (we will need to manually specify which folders to backup).

• Once done with this setting click Next. Review you backup settings and click Save settings and run backup.

How to update window?• Firstly we should check these:

• Minimum Hardware requirements:• 1 GHz 32 bit processor.

• 1Gb RAM for good performance

• Graphics adapter that supports Direct x 9 graphics. Minimum 512 Mb of Graphics memory.

• 20 GB free Hard disk space.

To update window• To check for Windows updates, follow these steps:• Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button

• In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

• If any updates are found, click Install updates.

Configuration Issues during installation?

• 1.Problem: Setup is stuck at X%

• 2.Problem: Setup does not recognize hard drive during installation.

• 3.If you receive an error message when trying to install a 64-bit version of Windows,

• your computer's central processing unit (CPU) might not be capable of running a 64-bit version of Windows.

• 4. window upgrade hangs at 62%

Set Resolution• Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button ,• • clicking Control Panel, and then under Appearance and

Personalization,

• clicking Adjust screen resolution.

• Click the drop-down list next to Resolution,

• move the slider to the resolution you want,

• Click Keep to use the new resolution,

• or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.
