    FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE WORKERS HAS NOT BEEN VIOLATED:

    Under Sec. 33 it is mentioned that for overtime wages are to be paid at the rate of twice the ordinary

    rates of wages of the worker. It mentions that the employer can take actual work on any day upto 9

    hours in a 12 hours shift. ut he must pay double the rates for any hour or part of an hour of actual

    work in e!cess of nine hours or for more than "# hours in any week. Sec. 1" of the $ct mentions that

    any worker whose minimum rate of wages are fi!ed with wage period of time% such as by hour% by the

    day or by any such period and if a worker works more than that number of hours% it is considered to

    be overtime. In case if the number of hours constituting a normal working day e!ceeds the given limit%

    then the employer will have to pay him for every hour or for part of an hour for which he has worked in

    e!cess at the overtime rate.

    &he dictionary meaning of the term hire is to engage or appoint somebody4 and dictionary meaning of 

    the term fire is to dismiss somebody4% hence the term hire and fire4 means to engage or dismiss

    somebody at will.

    achievement% the worker works efficiently for the organi6ation. If he performs his 5ob well% he will get a

    new 5ob easily. &his will benefit both the employer and the employee. &he company is free to fire

    workers when their work is over. &his helps the company to reduce its costs. It helps to improve

    company4s efficiency by firing the inefficient worker. (mployers can freely recruit workers as and when

    there is any re7uirement. 'ire and fire will increase automation and mechani6ation and this will

    improve 7uality and thus it is very favourable to the industry. It will provide new opportunities for new

    employees or youth. It will raise the profitability of the companies since the company does not have to

    incur any cost on employees who are not producing any output for the company.
