1IntroductionRiordan Manufacturing is a global plastics manufacturing system that has 550 people employed with a projected annual earnings of about $46 million. The company itself is a Fortune 1000 enterprise with revenues in excess of $1 billion ("Riordan Manufacturing", n.d.). Departments: FinanceHuman Resources,LegalSales & Marketing

Each departments business system intersects with each other with having Finance being their main hub of connection.

Fig 1 Displays the companys network infrastructure that is setup in both San Jose, CA and China

* Chinas facility has one minor difference and that is the number of computers and printers (they have a little bit more than the one in San Jose)3Network Diagram Fig 2

* These facilities were bought by the corporate headquarters in San Jose, CA

4FinanceFacilities that were bought by the corporate headquarters in San Jose (Michigan and Georgia)Michigans system is currently composed of C programming language by a vendor that the company has been dissolved and no longer in business.Georgias system is currently composed of an AS/400 system through RPG/400 and that vendor does not allow providing source code.China facilitys is a joint venture and their system is not compatible with their system.Corporate headquarters in San Jose has a system but no source code was providedBest solution would be to start from ground up and build a web based system that will allow easy access, accurate record keeping and the maintenance would allow for growth

Finance & Accounting System Overview

System overview of the Finance & Accounting system that is a brainstorm of what key elements should be included in the systemThe system should be setup as a web portal based (just like Human Resources HRIS system and the Sales & Marketing system), reason being that this system will be easier to connect and maintain company wide no matter where the buildings are located.

6Human ResourcesComputerizing the personnel systemsTraining record storage in a central online locationRecruiters information and applicant files sorted and consolidatedPreference for internal processing of workers compensation claimsEmployee files to be kept, shared and updated between individual managers and human resources section.Compensation information should be administered by a compensation manager that reports to both Payroll and human resources.

This will allow for changes to be made through online submissions reducing the need for physical paperworkInformation can be stored on an enterprise central drive or cloud based storage.While sorting each recruiters resumes by name Continue to keep using a single spreadsheet to track applicants status. File Resumes centrally onlineThis will allow the company to track and make adjustments to the claims all files need to be submitted to human resources so that they may be centralized in a location online and a uniform standard adopted that will apply to all managers and filesthe compensation manager position(s) should be split between HR and payroll departments thereby keeping every record centralized and accessible.7Human Resources System Overview

Litteral & Finkel Law Firm represents Dr. Riordan and Riordan Manufacturing in any legal matters that deals with the manufacturing or personal business of the corporation. Lowell Bradford is the chief counsel who overseas all legal matters pertaining to Riordan Manufacturing. All patents application any litigation or tax forms licensing , or contracts or real estate matters referred to Litteral & Finkel Law Firm but are supervised under the direction by Mr. Bradford. Litteral & Finkel Law firm has a good reputation in dealing with contracts and licensing and patent.

The company is in process of consolidatingcustomer information to allow a betterturnaround time in their database system. They currently have too many databasesspread out all over the companys network, not to mention they have paper files and microfiche records as well.

System overview of the Sales & Marketing system that is a brainstorm of what key elements should be included in the systemThe system should be setup as a web portal based (just like Finance and the HRIS system for Human Resources), reason being that this system will be easier to connect and maintain company wide no matter where the buildings are located.12ConclusionEvery section that has been discussed will give the company a greater understanding of how it is currently being overseen which then in turn allows a greater portion of its resources be used to advance the company to a better tomorrow
