Our magnificent venue has long been one of the Central Coast’s best-kept secrets, though the club has developed a growing reputation for its function hosting and makes an excellent
choice for special occasions of all kinds, including:

Spinnakers selection of menu packages is available to meet all tastes and budgets. We want your special day to be just as you want it – without having to compromise – and all
packages can be customised to suit your individual requirements.
HOW TO FIND US
Gosford Sailing Club is situated on the Central Coast, approximately 75km from the Sydney CBD and
70km from Newcastle, and is easily accessed from the M1 Motorway. Gosford train station and bus
interchange are located within easy walking distance, as is Gosford shopping centre.
DIRECTIONS
FROM THE SOUTH
Head north on the M1 Motorway, taking the Central Coast Highway exit (A46 signposted toward
Gosford / Woy Woy / Terrigal). Follow the A49 all the way to Gosford. Just before you reach the city,
turn right onto Dane Drive at the Central Coast Stadium. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights
and turn right at the Gosford Swimming Pool into Masons Parade. You will see the club a short way
down this road on the right. There is a carpark located on the waterfront north of the club house.
Other parking is available on the streets around the club.
FROM THE NORTH
If driving on the M1, take the Gosford exit at Ourimbah. Drive along the Pacific Highway into
Gosford, through the city centre and head towards the south. Turn right at the Gosford Swimming
Pool into Masons parade and the clubhouse is on your right. There is a carpark located on the
waterfront north of the club house. Other parking is available on the streets around the club.

FUNCTION HIRE SPACES
THE DINING ROOM - $330 (5 HOUR HIRE)
A stylish, sophisticated and elegant setting
offering floor to ceiling windows overlooking the
eastern part of Brisbane Water. The Dining Room
is the perfect venue for any guests wanting a
private gathering. It seats up to 60 guests, with
standing space for up to 80 guests.
THE TERRACE - $550 (5 HOUR HIRE)
This recently renovated area offers either an
enclosed air-conditioned space or, open the
bi-fold doors and windows and enjoy an alfresco
event space with uninterrupted views over the
water. The Terrace is ideal for casual canapé-style
functions up to 150 guests or seated dining
functions up to 80 guests.
BOATSHED BAR - $660 (5 HOUR HIRE)
A new addition to Gosford Sailing Club and set
right down by the water’s edge, this sought after
function space with private bar, is the ideal
setting for a casual canape event, including
birthday parties, engagements, life celebrations,
and other special occasions. Catering for canape
functions up to 80 people, you will not find
another waterfront setting like this on the Coast.

GOSFORD SAILING CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS
Exclusive Use (The Terrace / The Boatshed / The Dining Room): Any bookings of 40 or more in any of the function areas will be considered an exclusive booking of that area and a room hire fee will be applied. Any bookings of 40 or less may also request exclusivity of the area and a room hire fee will also be applied. Room rates are subject to times.
Cancellations: Room hire payments are non-refundable. If more than 3 months’ notice is given, we will be able to transfer your payment to another date, however this will be subject to availability and price changes.
Beverage service: The Gosford Sailing Club is fully licensed, no BYO. Should you decided to place a tab at the bar, this is to be arranged with club management prior to your special event. Alternatively, you may choose a cash bar option where your guests purchase their own drinks.
Entertainment: You are welcome to provide your own entertainment however all entertainment must first be approved by the club. Alternatively, the club can offer entertainment for you at your expense.
Security: Depending on the type of event and expected numbers, your event may require a security officer/s. A $50 per hour per guard charge is applicable. Please note that the club does not accept 18th Birthday Parties.
Membership: The person booking the function must be a current financial member of the club and will be responsible for the signing in of any guests who live within the 5km radius of the club. 1 year social membership is $10 and 3 year social membership is $25.
Responsible Service of Alcohol: The Gosford Sailing Club upholds the principals of Responsible Service of Alcohol and in accordance with the Liquor license, reserves the right to refuse service and ask to leave persons suspected of being under the age of eighteen years and to any person who shows signs of intoxication.
Damages: Organizers are financially responsible for any damages or loss sustained to Gosford Sailing Club during the course of a function. No responsibility will be taken by Gosford Sailing club for any damage or loss of personal items, before, during or after the function. All care, but no responsibility will be taken for gifts or decorations bought into the premise.
Children: Children are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Children may be asked to leave the premise by 9pm, this is under the discretion of club management.
