It is located approximately 30 mins drive from the popular beach resort of Altinkum and is served by a very frequent Dolmus service to and from Altinkum. Akbuk has a working harbour with a fleet of fishing boats providing the local restaurants with a variety of fresh fish. Fishing trips and boat tours to nearby bays and islands are also available,and Yasmin Gardens is a short walk away from a number of small isolated beaches, restaurants and the centre of the village and the harbour. Akbuk offers a multitude of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants, serving quality Turkish food.
