Full-Stack Developer Spot Marketing Group – Ingersoll, Ontario Do you love a challenge and working in a fast-paced progressive environment? We are expanding and are seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our Creative Team in transforming the Marketing and Print space, contributing to consumer marketing and agency advertising through innovative technology, applications, research and development. We are looking for someone who ENGAGES and cares deeply about the work we do, understands how technology can help make our Clients more competitive in the marketplace and is driven to build it. We would like someone who COLLABORATES, integrates, supports, questions, innovates, communicates and delivers alongside the team while creating amazing tech for our Clients. What you will work on: • Building responsive, accessible applications and front-end solutions • Collaborating with other disciplines to help develop field specific applications • Keeping up-to-date on the latest front-end technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best techniques possible • Being an advocate throughout the company for great UX • Working collaboratively to learn and educate others about full stack and front end development • Involvement in development communities, meet-ups, blogging, etc. The technical stuff that would be nice to have: • Understanding of functional programming • Node.js; React and React-Native • Sass; CSS-BEM; Git; JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Testing and debugging • NosQL databases (Mongodb, Cassandra, etc) • HTML5, Bootstrap, Linux; RESTful and open APIs • Popular frame works like JavaScript, Angular JS, Ember js, etc, CMS Framework • Amazon Web Services or experience with another cloud provider • C#, SQL and MySQL databases, PHO and Apache • Adobe Suite, Photoshop and experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python. • Understanding of web security standards, WHM and CPanel • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile Project Management environment • Ability to explain technical issues and recommend solutions • Experience in a senior role on successful development efforts and launching new products (would be an asset) Job Type: Full-time; 40 hours per week Start date: ASAP Salary: Jr. Full-Stack Web Developer - TBD - based on experience Sr. Full-Stack Web Developer – TBD - based on experience Required Development Experience: 2 - 5 years Visit our website to learn more about us: www.spotmarketing.ca Applications are being reviewed on an as-submitted basis.
