These penguin pattern activities are a great tool for helping kids learn how to identify common patterns such as ABAB, ABC, AABB, AAB and ABB. For more teaching resources visit my TPT store here . Instructions Print on cardstock or laminate for durability. Cut along the dotted lines to create the pattern mats. Lay out the pattern mats near a basket of coloured counters or pom poms. You will need red, yellow, blue and green. As an additional activity kids can make their own patterns using the pattern worksheet. To make the patterns you can use stamps, coloured stickers, bingo daubers, pom poms or paint. Terms of Use You are permitted to use these copyrighted resources for your own classroom use.
