  • This programme is designed to enable engineers to develop a comprehensive systems software approach for applications which will provide an important contribution to the ever-growing computer software industry. During your studies you will explore the design and development of large, heterogeneous software systems, give consideration to issues such as reliability and performance features of concurrency and distributed systems, and the management of software development projects. Consideration is also given to a range of relevant areas, such as mathematical modelling. The diploma course covers the areas of accounting, auditing, economics, �nance, IT and business. Students may apply for exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certi�ed Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants on successfully completing the course.

    The Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry, and a knowledge of the underlying principles involved. This programme has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 hours. Private study will be required over and above this �gure. Each of the modules has a two and a half hours examination, set and marked by CTH.

    The Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry and to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry. The scheme has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 contact hours. Private study will be required over and above this �gure.
