Any major is acceptable for professional schools.

A diverse academic background will broaden your education and develop critical thinking skills.

If you are a science major, include diverse classes outside your major.

For non-science majors, take the pre-requisites along side your required curriculum. Add upper division science courses “recommended” by your program.

Create a “competitive” schedule, not an overwhelming one.

Get to know your professors, especially in classes you enjoyed.

Aim for a 3.6 GPA or higher for any health profession school

Start off well and maintain a high level of performance

Overall GPA & Science GPA (BCPM) should be 3.6 or higher to be considered competitive

Take a full course load each semester – 15 hours are recommended
