Join us on Wednesday MARCH 14TH 2018 when one of the premier muskie hunters and guides, Spencer Berman will be in the house. At sixteen, he started fishing on the Wisconsin Musky Trail and became the youngest boat captain to place in a tournament in trail history. Shortly after that he began to fish on the Professional Musky Tournament Trail and finished eleventh in his first event at age eighteen. He was the youngest boat captain to ever place in the money. That year he and his partner ended up placing in two of the four qualifying events and finished in the top twenty-five in the world. He has also fished in a number of Indiana tournaments including the Indiana Classic and the Webster Lake Cash Tournament, in which I had several top finishes and victories. His Tournament success hit its pinnacle in 2013 on the Professional Musky Tournament Trail when he and his partner won the prestigious Team of the Year award. They set a new record with three top five finishes in the four tournament events including a second place finish in the World Championship on Lake St. Clair. FROM THE MEMBERSHIP CORNER… FROM THE MEMBERSHIP CORNER… The March 14th meeting will be another Free Pizza Night. This will a good one,

we have Spencer Berman, a premier speaker. Bring your appetite and bring a

friend along. I am happy to say the last three meetings had very good attendance

and member participation. The February speaker Steve Worrall gave a very inter-

esting and informative lecture. From my position in the back, I observed a trans-

fixed audience, only one older person dozed-off. I could see he was trying his best

to stay awake and not miss Steve's lecture. Happens to the best of us some-

times! Membership numbers are holding steady and slowly increasing. This is in part I think to our ef-

forts to provide you folks with good speakers, nice raffle prizes plus a nice place to gather. You must ad-

mit Chandlers is a step-up facility. The monthly meetings cost the club more than we collect from en-

trance donations and raffle money; so starting with the April, we will be asking for a $5.00 donation at

the door. The extra $2.00 will help cover the speaker cost. You can help by inviting friends to the meet-

ings. We love you guys and will continue to provided fun meetings and outings. Needless to say we need

your monthly participation and support. Remember I am at the meetings to renew your membership's

and welcome new members. Let's have a good turnout on March 14th., P.S. if you never fished a tour-

nament, we have one coming up in May. It is $200 per boat, dinner/banquet and great prizes some are

cash! Hey, don't forget a Fundraiser/Banquet on March 24th Chandlers of-course. I’ve said enough see
