Zest is used for the colour, smell and taste for all kinds of industries. The zest is an important natural additive to all kinds of products. For example make up, sweets, drinks etc. etc. The zest can be taken from the fruit with either the standard peel cup or with the gauge. Making use of the gauge the zest will be taken away in a more equal and

optimal way while the standard peel cup works faster.

When the citrus fruit is stripped of the outer shell, it can also be further peeled up to the fruit. The thickness of the second, white layer can also be easily adjusted via the touchscreen. Finally, the fruit can still be top-tailed.

The Citrus & Kiwi Peeler can be equipped with a gouge. With this gouge

it’s possible to make a long string of citrus fruit peel. This string is mainly

used in the bakery, marmalade and liquor industries. Making use of the

touchscreen on the machine, the width and depth of the string can be

adjusted and once set, the result is very consistent.
