Genre: Coming-of-age

Synopsis: When eighteen-year-old Lila’s brother dies of a terminal illness, she gets a new outlook on life and sets out to complete all of the things on the Bucket List that he left behind him, accompanied by her two friends, Jess and Atticus. Style and Form of Coming of Age Opening Sequences

- The first shot is long in duration- There are lots of CUs- Start with silence to accentuate the

visuals (setting/mise-en-scene)- Diagetic sound effects: birds, wind,

distant city- A soft, slow-paced sound track- Usually cuts are used, with some

fades- Natural, exterior lighting and

landscape settings- Quirky, unique fashion - Typical props: bikes, backpacks,

books, telescopes, posters, photos
